Justine Ojoka Emmanuel (born 13 April 2003) is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a forward.
Emmanuel was initially scouted by Karolis Skinkys, sporting director of Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters in Nigeria. [3] In July 2023, he joined the club on trial. [4] On 9 August, he was included in the Kerala Blasters squad for the 2023 Durand Cup. [5] He made his competitive debut on 13 August and scored in a 3–4 defeat against Gokulam Kerala in the Durand Cup. [6]
On 1 September 2023, Kerala Blasters announced that Emmanuel had been loaned out to I-League club Gokulam Kerala on a season-long deal. [7] On 8 December he made his debut for Gokulam in a 1–1 draw against Mohammedan SC in the I-League. [8] On 5 November, he scored his first league goal in a 4–1 win over NEROCA. [9]
Following the injury of Kwame Peprah mid-season, Kerala Blasters have recalled Emmanuel back from loan for the second half of the 2023–24 season. [10] [11] He made his ISL debut on 2 February 2024, as a 65th-minute substitute in a 2–1 defeat against Odisha FC. [12] He left the Blasters after reaching reaching a mutual agreement with the club for the termination of his contract. [13]
He was part of the Nigeria national under-20 team camp for the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations. [14]
