K. D. Aubert (born December 6, 1978), also known as K.D. Rose, is an American actress and fashion model. [2] She owns her own record label, Roseland.[ citation needed ]
Aubert was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 6, 1978. The K.D. initials stand for Karen Denise. She describes herself as "African-American with a dash of Creole". [3] She grew up in Riverside and Los Angeles. She attended San Diego State University, where she played on the Aztec softball team.[ citation needed ]
She was discovered working behind the make-up counter at Macy's. [4] She has modeled for Victoria's Secret, Noxzema, Frederick's of Hollywood, Escada and many more. She co-hosted MTV's Kidnapped and has gone on to star in several films and music videos. [4]
Aubert is also one of the four original Fantanas, a female group of spokesmodels appearing in TV commercials for the soft drink Fanta. She was the Strawberry Fanta. [5] She is featured as the Strawberry Fantana with her fellow Fantanas in the Maxim magazine online girl [6] gallery and was ranked #91 and #97 on the Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2003, [7] and 2004. [8] Aubert was in an Old Spice commercial with Greg Jennings of the Green Bay Packers. [9] She has also been in commercials for Bacardi, Miller Lite, Go Daddy, Beats By Dr. Dre, and Cola. Karen has just finished a commercial with George Clooney and Nespresso. [10]
Aubert's big break came when she was cast as Donna in Friday After Next which was directed by Marcus Raboy and produced by Ice Cube. [11] She also had two roles in Hollywood Homicide . [12] She also starred in DysEnchanted as Little Red Riding Hood with Jim Belushi. She played Giselle in Soul Plane . [13] She also played Eliza in Frankenfish . [14] In 2005, Aubert played Cherise in In the Mix . [15] In 2007, Aubert was cast as Julie the Waitress in The Grand .[ citation needed ] In 2008, Aubert played April May in Surfer, Dude . [16] In 2013, Aubert was nominated and won an Africa Movie Academy Award for her role in Turning Point , as well as the Turning Point cast, who also won several awards at the 9th Africa Movie Academy Awards AMAA. Christopher Joseph Columbus is an American filmmaker. Born in Spangler, Pennsylvania, Columbus studied film at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts where he developed an interest in filmmaking. After writing screenplays for several teen comedies in the mid-1980s, including Gremlins, The Goonies, and Young Sherlock Holmes, he made his directorial debut with a teen adventure, Adventures in Babysitting (1987). The Fantanas are a group of spokesmodels who were created to promote the Fanta brand of soft drinks in the United States. The jingle itself was produced by John Alters, and written by John Alters and Eric Kupper. None of the models actually sang on the jingle. The singers were in fact studio session singers. The quartet has appeared since 2002 in advertising and personal appearances. There have been five different Fantanas rosters, the latest reintroduced as a co-ed dance ensemble in 2017. Their jingle is "Wanna Fanta! Don't you wanna?".
Hollywood Homicide is a 2003 American buddy cop action comedy film starring Harrison Ford and Josh Hartnett, with a supporting cast including Lena Olin, Bruce Greenwood, Isaiah Washington, Lolita Davidovich, Keith David, Gladys Knight, Master P, Dwight Yoakam, Eric Idle, Ron Shelton, Robert Wagner, Kurupt, Smokey Robinson, Lou Diamond Phillips, Martin Landau, and André Benjamin. It was directed by Ron Shelton, written by Shelton and Robert Souza, and produced by Shelton and Lou Pitt. The film is based on the true experiences of Souza, who was a homicide detective in the LAPD Hollywood Division and moonlighted as a real estate broker in his final ten years on the job. The film's title sequence is done by Wayne Fitzgerald, which marks it as his final time doing a title sequence before his death in September 2019.

Ocean's is a series of heist films. Beginning with the 1960 Rat Pack film Ocean's 11, the series has seen mixed to favorable critical reception and substantial commercial success. Lethal Weapon is an American buddy cop action-comedy media franchise created by Shane Black. It focuses on two Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) detectives, Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh. The franchise consists of a series of four films released between 1987 and 1998 and a television series which aired from 2016 to 2019. The four films were directed by Richard Donner and also share many of the same core cast members, while the television series is a reboot with different actors. Proving to be Tarantino's breakthrough film, it was named the greatest independent film of all time by Empire. Tarantino's screenplay for Tony Scott's True Romance (1993) was nominated for a Saturn Award. Also in 1993, he served as an executive producer for Killing Zoe and wrote two other films.
