The Samajwadi Party is a socialist political party in India. It was founded by formerly Janata Dal politicians Mulayam Singh Yadav and Beni Prasad Verma and is headquartered in New Delhi. The Samajwadi Party is currently led by former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh,Akhilesh Yadav after he was chosen as the President at the party's national convention held in 2017.

Ghulam Nabi Azad is an Indian politician who served as Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha between 2014 and 2021. He also served as the Chief Minister of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir from 2005 to 2008. On 26 September 2022,Azad announced his own political party as Democratic Progressive Azad Party. He is the chief patron cum founder of Democratic Progressive Azad Party.

Rishang Keishing was an Indian politician from Manipur. Rishang served as Chief Minister of Manipur from 1980 to 1988 and from 1994 to 1998. He was former Member of Parliament,Rajya Sabha representing Manipur.
