K. S. Jayalakshmi is an Indian actress who works in the Tamil film and television industries. She has acted in comedy roles in movies. Jayalakshmi made her acting debut in the Tamil film Etharkum Thuninthavan released in 1976.
She has since then been featured in more than a hundred films, including Agni Satchi, Poikkal Kudhirai , Manathil Uruthi Vendum , Guru Sishyan, Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal and Kaadhale Nimmadhi .[ citation needed ]

The Soolamangalam Sisters are best known for singing the Kanda Shasti Kavasam, a hymn on the Hindu god Muruga.
Radha and Jayalakshmi, popularly known as Radha Jayalakshmi, were an Indian Carnatic music vocalist duo as well as playback singers in films in the 1940s and 1950s. Gopalan Ramanathan was an Indian music composer for Tamil movies. He is also known as Isai Methai or Sangeetha Chakravarthy and is considered to be one of the influential Tamil music composers to take Carnatic music to the masses. Notable for his association with M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar. G. Ramanathan also composed for films of Salem Modern Theatres and Coimbatore Central Studios. His career lasted until his death in 1963. During the 1950s G.Ramanathan's music dominated most of the box office hits of the then leading Tamil movie stars Shivaji Ganesan and M. G. Ramachandran.

The film was entirely shot during the COVID-19 pandemic in India and was set against the backdrop of the country's 21-day lockdown in March 2020. The film was released on Amazon Prime Video on 16 October 2020. A sequel titled Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa released in 2022.
Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal was an Indian Tamil-language family television drama that aired on Zee Tamil and streamed on ZEE5. The series premiered on 22 March 2021 and featured Devayani, Abhishek Shankar, and VJ Parvathy in the lead roles. It is an official remake of the Zee Marathi series Aggabai Sasubai. The series ended on 20 November 2022 after 536 episodes.
