KJCV (1450 AM) is a radio station licensed to Jackson, Wyoming, United States. The station is currently owned by Bott Radio Network, through licensee Community Broadcasting. [2] [3]
Unlike many other Wyoming stations that date back to the 1940s, KJCV is a 21st-century station. It first signed on the air on December 24, 2009. [4] The station was established by Community Broadcasting, Inc., a licensee tied to the Bott Radio Network (BRN). [5]
The launch of KJCV was part of a strategic expansion by Bott Radio Network into the Mountain West. By establishing a physical presence in Jackson, the network was able to bridge the coverage gap between its signals in Idaho and its high-power AM 830 signal (KUYO) in Casper. [6] [7]
