Kachehri is a 1994 Punjabi language film starring Gurdas Maan, Yograj singh and Chetana Das. The playback is by Jaspinder Narula, Sadhana Sargam, Salma Agha [1] and Gurdas Maan.
Gurdas Maan is an Indian singer, songwriter and actor mainly associated with Punjabi language music and films. He gained national attention in 1980 with the song "Dil Da Mamla Hai". Since then, he had gone on to record over 34 albums and had written over 305 songs. In 2015 he performed on the song "Ki Banu Dunia Da" with Diljit Dosanjh in MTV Coke studio India that was aired in season 4 episode 5 on MTV India. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest and the most influential Punjabi musicians of all time.
Waris Shah: Ishq Daa Waaris is a 2006 Indian Punjabi language film, directed by Manoj Punj, starring Gurdas Maan, Juhi Chawla and Divya Dutta in lead roles. It is about the life of legendary Punjabi poet Waris Shah during the times when he wrote the poem Heer. The movie was internationally acclaimed and won four awards at the 54th National Film Awards.

It has been made by Maan's own production company - Sai Lok Sangeet, with the screenplay by Irshad Kamil, music by Jaidev Kumar and lyrics written by Gurdas Maan. The music for the film was released on 6 January 2010 and includes vocals from Gurdas Maan, Shreya Ghoshal and for the first time ever in her career - Juhi Chawla has sung alongside Gurdas Maan in a duet for the songs "Preeto " and "Nanhi Si Gudiya".

She is married to the noted singer-songwriter and actor Gurdas Maan, and is the owner of Sai Productions, a film production company based in Mumbai. She also acted in the film Gabhroo Punjab Da, opposite Maan. She made her directorial debut with Sukhmani: Hope for Life in 2010.
