Kai Walter (born 1973) is a German slalom canoeist who competed from the late 1990s to the early 2000s.
He won a silver medal in the C2 team event at the 2002 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in Bourg St.-Maurice. He also won a bronze medal in the same event at the 2002 European Championships in Bratislava. [1]
His partner throughout his international career was Frank Henze.

Michal Martikán is a Slovak slalom canoeist who has been competing at the international level since 1994. In 1996 he became the first athlete to win an Olympic gold medal for Slovakia since the country gained independence in 1993. In total he won 5 Olympic medals, which is the most among all slalom paddlers. He has also won the World Championship title in the C1 individual category four times.

They retired from wildwater canoeing after the 2021 World Championships in their hometown Bratislava.
