Shalini Ajith Kumar, known mononymously as Shalini is a former Indian actress and child artist who predominantly worked in Malayalam and Tamil films. During the 80s, Shalini was the most successful child artist in both Malayalam and Tamil film industry and also in Telugu films. After a brief hiatus from acting, Shalini made a come back in 1997 through Malayalam and Tamil language films as a lead heroine. She married popular Tamil actor Ajith Kumar, on 24 April 2000 and did one more film after her wedding before officially retiring from films.

Bodyguard is a 2010 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Siddique. It stars Dileep with Nayanthara and Mithra Kurian in the lead. The story centres around the life of Madhavankutty, locally known as 'Hitler' due to his tough character, domineering personality and his uncontrolled rage at the youngsters of the area, for stalking his five young sisters. The film features original songs composed by S. P. Venkatesh. Hitler became the highest-grossing Malayalam film of the year 1996, and completed more than 300 days theatrical run. The film broke the collection record of Mammootty-starrer The King that was released the previous year.
