Kami no Shizuku (神の雫) is a Japanese multi-award-winning television comedy series, based on the manga series Drops of God . Produced by Nippon TV and featuring Kazuya Kamenashi, Seiichi Tanabe, Riisa Naka, Nozomi Sasaki, and Yuki Uchida, it was first broadcast on January 13, 2009, running until March 10, 2009. [1] [2] In the Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix Winter 2009 Awards, the series received awards in four of the main categories. [3]

Naka also portrayed cousins Makoto Konno and Akari Yoshiyama who are the protagonists in respectively the 2006 anime film The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and the 2010 live action movie Time Traveller: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, both of which are based on the 1967 novel Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo by Yasutaka Tsutsui.

<i>Drops of God</i> Japanese manga series

The Drops of God is a Japanese manga series about wine. It is written by Tadashi Agi, a pseudonym employed by creative team of sister and brother Yuko and Shin Kibayashi, and illustrated by Shu Okimoto. The story is told in two parts – the first part focusing on protagonist Shizuku Kanzaki and his rival Issei Tomine on their search of the "Twelve Apostles" wines, and the second focusing on finding the "Drops Of God". A third part of the series serves as short sequel details Shizuku's life after the competition and taking Issei's daughter under his wing.

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., also known in English as Psychic Kusuo, is a 2017 Japanese science fiction comedy film and an adaptation of the manga series by Shūichi Asō, directed by Yuichi Fukuda. Drops of God is a French-American-Japanese television series created by Quoc Dang Tran, directed by Oded Ruskin and starring Tomohisa Yamashita and Fleur Geffrier. It is based on the manga series of the same name written by Tadashi Agi and illustrated by Shu Okimoto. The series centres on the competition for inheritance of an estate and its vast wine collection between an heiress and a star student of a well known oenologist who passed away. However, the former experiences severe side effects related to her childhood trauma and the latter's family complicates the process.
