Kankipadu is a suburb of Vijayawada and a in Krishna District of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is also the mandal headquarters of Kankipadu mandal in Vuyyuru revenue division.^[1]^[2]

Geography

It is located 55 km towards west from district headquarters Machilipatnam. Kankipadu is located at 16°27′00″N80°47′00″E / 16.4500°N 80.7833°E / 16.4500; 80.7833 .^[3] It has an average elevation of 6 metres (22 feet). Kankipadu is Eastern Parts of Vijayawada .
