Dadar ([d̪aːd̪əɾ]) is a densely populated residential and shopping neighbourhood in Mumbai. It is also a prominent railway and bus service hub with local and national connectivity. Dadar holds the distinction of being Mumbai’s first planned area and it is also a hub for the city's Marathi culture. It includes the Dadar West area.
Maheshwari Udyan, also known by its former name King's Circle, is a park in Matunga, Mumbai. It was named after George V, the King-Emperor. The part of the road that leads to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus was formerly called Vincent Road. It was changed to Dr. Ambedkar Road almost 45 years ago. King's Circle station and Matunga railway station are next to each other, the former on the Harbour and the latter on the Central line.

The Mumbai Metro is a rapid transit (MRT) system serving the city of Mumbai and the wider Mumbai Metropolitan Region in Maharashtra, India. Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority is the responsible authority for maintaining the metro system. The system is designed to reduce traffic congestion in the city, and supplement the overcrowded Mumbai Suburban Railway network. It is being built in three phases over a 15-year period, with overall completion expected in October 2026. Mumbai Metro is the sixth longest operational metro network in India with operational length of 46.4 km (28.8 mi) as of January 2023. When completed, the core system will comprise fourteen high-capacity metro railway lines and one metrolite line, spanning a total of 356.972 kilometres (221.812 mi), and serviced by 286 stations.

Maharastra State Highway 42, commonly referred to as Ghodbunder Road or G.B. Road, runs entirely through the district of Thane. It is one of the major roads leading out of Thane city and connects to the Eastern Express Highway coming from south at Kapurbawdi, which later becomes National Highway 3 at this junction travels North-East. It also connects to the Western Express Highway coming from south at Ghodbunder village, which later becomes National Highway 8 at this junction traveling North-ward's towards Gujarat.
New Panvel is a residential, commercial and educational node of Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra and comes under the Konkan division. New Panvel was developed on marshy land and was previously a Mango cultivated area. New Panvel is divided into two parts: New Panvel (E), on the eastern side of Panvel railway station and Khanda Colony or New Panvel (W) on the western side of it. Both parts of New Panvel are connected by a flyover bridge also known as Khanda Colony Flyover. The Western Express Highway, abbreviated to WEH, is a major north–south 8-10 lane arterial road in Mumbai, India, stretching from the suburb of Mira Road to Bandra. The 25.33 km (15.74 mi) highway begins near the Mahim Creek and extends to the Kashimira in the northern limit of the city till it connects National Highway 48 at Ghodbunder village. The road connects the city of Mumbai to its suburbs, including the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
The Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park Residential Zone is a precinct consisting of 187 residential buildings that were built as part of the Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park scheme in Dadar, Mumbai. The Eastern Express Highway, abbreviated to EEH, is a 23.55 km (14.63 mi) city express highway serving the cities of Mumbai and Thane. It is one of the busiest and most important roads in the Mumbai Metropolitan Area and is a part of the National Highway 48. It is a north–south artery of Mumbai connecting the city proper to the eastern suburbs and to the metropolitan area of Thane. For most of its course, it is 6 lanes wide with over a dozen flyovers/grade separators.

The Jogeshwari–Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR), is a 10.6-kilometre-long (6.6 mi) 6-lane road with a central median in Mumbai which connects the Western Express Highway and Eastern Express Highway providing speedier access from Jogeshwari in the Western Suburbs to Vikhroli in the Eastern Suburbs. It was opened to traffic in 1994, and widened from two to six lanes in 2012 at a cost of ₹221.45 crore. The under-construction Line 6 of the Mumbai Metro is being constructed on this link road.
Kherwadi is a middle class, developing neighborhood, situated on the eastern side of Bandra railway station, Mumbai. Its name is derived from the first chief minister of Bombay State, B. G. Kher. The Vikhroli-Kopar Khairane Link Road (VKLR), also known as the JVLR-Kopar Khairane-Ghansoli Bridge, is a proposed 7.5 km to 10 km, freeway grade road bridge connecting the Indian city of Mumbai with Navi Mumbai, its satellite city. The new link road would start at Eastern Express Highway (EEH) where Jogeshwari–Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR) ends in Vikhroli, then cross Thane Creek and Harbour railway line and will terminate at Kopar Khairane in Navi Mumbai before ending on Thane-Belapur Road. The link would be a six-lane road of about 10 km in length including a 2-kilometre-long (1.2 mi) bridge over the Thane Creek. At present motorists have to take either the Vashi Bridge or Mulund-Airoli Link Road to go to Navi Mumbai and Pune. The new road will help motorists save time and fuel. The project is estimated to cost around ₹ 550 to 1200 crore. Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) appointed N P Bridging, as designing consultants for the project, which was supposed to submit the final report on the link road by mid-September 2016.
Pink Line 6 of the Mumbai Metro, or the Swami Samarth Nagar-Jogeshwari-Vikhroli-Kanjurmarg Line, is part of the metro system for the city of Mumbai, India. Major section of the line will run through the Jogeshwari–Vikhroli Link Road which is going to be fully elevated. It is being made through the MoU between DMRC and MMRDA.
