Kansas City Interscholastic Conference

The Kansas City Interscholastic (KCI) Conference is a mid-sized school athletic conference in the state of Missouri. It contains eight schools and holds many recent state titles in football, basketball and other sports. The schools in the KCI are classified as Missouri Class 2 and Missouri Class 3 by the Missouri State High School Activities Association.

Central Arkansas Christian Schools (CAC) is a group of three private schools based in North Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. CAC was established in 1971 at Sylvan Hills Church of Christ in Sherwood, Arkansas. Because of its foundation date, the school has been categorized as a segregation academy although enrollment records indicate black students were enrolled in the school as early as 1974. The Central Arkansas Christian School system includes a combination middle and high school campus in North Little Rock and two elementary schools: a campus in Pleasant Valley/Little Rock and a campus in North Little Rock. Together, they composed the state's fourth-largest combined private school for the 2018-19 school year. The schools are "affiliated" with the Churches of Christ and are members of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

California High School is located at 1501 West Buchanan in California, Missouri. It is part of the California R-1 School District. Current enrollment is 472 as of August 2008. The mascot of the school is the Pintos. The high school year book is called the Cavalier.

Warren "Bud" Lathrop was an American high school basketball coach in Missouri. With 955 wins, he ranked seventh in total wins in the history of high school boys basketball in the United States at the time of his retirement.

The Frisco League is a high school athletic conference consisting of nine high schools in Mid-Missouri. All the schools in the conference are Class 2 and 3, a norm for small rural schools in the area. The league takes its name from the St. Louis – San Francisco Railway, which was, and still is, a major presence in the area— especially before the birth of Route 66.

The Lakes Conference is a high school athletic conference whose members are located in mid-sized cities in northwest Iowa. Most of the schools are located in their respective county seats.

Mid Buchanan High School is a public high school in Faucett, Missouri. Mid Buchanan competes in the Missouri State High School Activities Association as a member of the Kansas City Interscholastic Conference in several interscholastic sports. Enrollment at Mid Buchanan High School is approximately 250 students.

Buchanan High School is a comprehensive public high school located in Buchanan, Michigan, United States. The school serves grades 8-12 and is part of the Buchanan Community Schools district. The school and the community it serves is named after James Buchanan, the 15th President of the United States. Between 2012 and 2014, the school received local and national recognition for its student-led anti-bullying efforts and was named "Nicest School in America" in 2014 by Procter & Gamble as a part of its "Mean Stinks!" anti-bullying campaign. Since the class of 2017, all graduates residing within the school district are eligible for the Buchanan Promise scholarship which grants financial assistance towards the cost of attending a college, university or trade school. The amount was initially a maximum of $10,000 per graduate, but increased to a maximum of $15,000 per graduate beginning with the class of 2022.
