Nadia Elena Comăneci Conner is a Romanian retired gymnast. She is a five-time Olympic gold medalist, all in individual events. In 1976, at the age of 14, Comăneci was the first gymnast to be awarded a perfect score of 10.0 at the Olympic Games. At the same Games, she received six more perfect 10s for events en route to winning three gold medals. At the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, she won two more gold medals and achieved two more perfect 10s. During her career, she won nine Olympic medals and four World Artistic Gymnastics Championship medals.
Mary Lou Retton is an American retired gymnast. At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, she won a gold medal in the individual all-around competition, as well as two silver medals and two bronze medals.
Olga Valentinovna Korbut is a Belarusian retired gymnast who competed for the Soviet Union. Nicknamed the "Sparrow from Minsk", she won four gold medals and two silver medals at the Summer Olympic Games, in which she competed in 1972 and 1976 for the Soviet team, and was the inaugural inductee to the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 1988.

Maxi Gnauck is a German former artistic gymnast who represented East Germany. Karen Christina Shelton is an American former field hockey player and coach. Shelton served as head coach of the University of North Carolina's field hockey program from 1981 until her retirement in 2022. She was a member of the U.S. National Team from 1977 to 1984 and a starter on the team that won the bronze medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. She attended West Chester State and was a member of four NCAA championship winning teams. Shelton also qualified for the 1980 Olympic team but did not compete due to the Olympic Committee's boycott of the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, Russia. As consolation, she was one of 461 athletes to receive a Congressional Gold Medal many years later.
Kristen Ann Maloney is a retired gymnast from Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania, in the United States. She won bronze in the team event at the 2000 Olympic Games. Maloney was also the U.S. senior all-around national champion in 1998 and 1999 and the 1998 Goodwill Games gold medalist on the balance beam.
Lisa Elena Jane Mason is a British gymnast who has competed for her country at the Commonwealth Games, European championships, World championships and the Olympic Games. She was the vault champion at the 1998 Commonwealth Games, and was part of the first Great Britain women's artistic gymnastic team to qualify for the team event at the Olympic Games.
Tracee Ann Talavera is an American former artistic gymnast who competed for the United States at the Olympics and World Championships. She qualified for the 1980 Olympic team. She was the 1981 and 1982 U.S. National All-around Champion and a member of the silver medal-winning American team at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. Talavera was born in Santa Clara, California.
Karen Brems Kurreck is a graduate of Urbana High School and the University of Illinois. As a racing cyclist, she is best known for winning the inaugural women's individual time trial at the 1994 UCI Road World Championships in Catania, Italy. Kurreck represented the United States at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.
Amanda Jayne Reddin OBE, née Harrison, later Kirby, is a gymnastics coach, and former Olympic gymnast, for Great Britain. Personal coach of many successful gymnasts, including three-time world champion and Olympic medallist Beth Tweddle, double Olympian Hannah Whelan and Olympian Jennifer Pinches. Reddin coached for many years at the City of Liverpool Gymnastics Club. She was Head National Coach for British Gymnastics until stepping down in May 2022 just weeks before an independent review into abuse in the sport.
Theresa Hope Spivey is a former gymnast. While at Georgia, she won the Honda-Broderick Award as the nation's top female gymnast in 1991. She currently resides in the Valdosta, GA area where she owns a gym. She competed for the United States national team at the 1988 Summer Olympics. She was inducted into the University of Georgia Circle of Honor in 2007 and the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame in Feb. 2015.
Simone Arianne Biles Owens is an American artistic gymnast. Her 11 Olympic medals and 30 World Championship medals make her the most decorated gymnast in history, and she is considered by many to be one of the greatest gymnasts and Olympians of all time. With 11 Olympic medals, she is tied with Věra Čáslavská as the second-most decorated female Olympic gymnast, and has the most Olympic medals earned by a U.S. gymnast.
The Great Britain women's national artistic gymnastics team represents Great Britain in FIG international competitions. After winning the bronze medal at the 1928 Olympics, the British team have placed consistently well in modern-day 21st-century artistic gymnastics. In October 2015, they won their first team World medal, taking home a bronze medal.
Kelly Garrison-Funderburk, formerly known as Kelly Garrison-Steves, is a retired American artistic gymnast. An elite gymnast for eight years, she represented the United States at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. In addition to her Olympic experience, she participated in the 1983, 1985 and 1987 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. She was a two-time winner of the Honda Sports Award.
Bryony Kate Frances Page is a British individual trampoline gymnast. She won the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in individual trampoline. She is the 2021 and 2023 women's individual trampoline world champion, and part of the British team that won team gold at the 2013 world championships, and all-around team gold in 2022.

Lisa Read is an Australian gymnast. She competed in six events at the 1992 Summer Olympics. In 1987, she competed in the WAG junior national finals, finishing 1st out of 27 overall, whilst also winning the bars, beam and floor finals, and placing second in the vault final. In 1988, she was awarded the WAG junior gymnast of the year by The Australian Gymnast.
