Karolin Wagner (born 1 April 1996) [1] is a German slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 2011 to 2015. [2]
She qualified for the German Junior Canoe Slalom team at the age of 15 in the category Canoe Single. In the same year, she debuted at her first international competition with a bronze medal at the ECA Junior European Championships in Banja Luka in the C1 single event. In 2013, she won the C1 single competition at the ICF Junior World Championships in Liptovský Mikuláš. In the same year, she won a bronze medal in the C1 team event at the 2013 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in Prague.
Outside her main competition category C1, she also successfully competed in team competitions and in the category K1 at several German Youth, Junior and Senior competitions. Notably, she won a gold medal at the 2013 German Junior Championships in K1 [3] in Markkleeberg.
She took part in awareness campaigns for women's participation in C1 competitions and gender equality in Canoe Slalom. [4]
Štěpánka Hilgertová is a former Czechoslovak-Czech slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1988 to 2017. Competing in six Summer Olympics, she won two gold medals in the K1 event, earning them in 1996 and 2000.
Fabien Lefèvre is a French slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 1998. As a permanent resident of the United States, he has competed for his country of residence since 2013. He represented France until 2011. He won two medals at the Summer Olympics in the K1 event with a silver in 2008 and a bronze in 2004. He has a son called Noe Lefèvre.
The ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships are an international event in canoeing organized by the International Canoe Federation. The World Championships have taken place every year in non-Summer Olympic years since 2002. From 1949 to 1999, they had taken place in odd-numbered years. The 2001 championships were scheduled to take place in Ducktown, Tennessee from 20 to 23 September, but were canceled in the wake of the September 11 attacks.
Nicolas Peschier is a French slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1999 to 2016. In the early part of his career he was specializing on the C1 class. He also competed in the C2 class from 2011 to 2015 together with Pierre Labarelle.
Jana Dukátová is a former Slovak slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1999 to 2021. She specialized in the K1 event for most of her career, although she was also one of the pioneers of the women's C1 discipline, becoming the first ever world champion. She stopped competing in C1 after 2010.

Jiří Prskavec is a Czech slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2008, specializing in the K1 discipline. In 2023 he also started competing in C1. He also occasionally appears in kayak cross. With an Olympic gold and a bronze, 2 individual world titles and 5 individual European titles, he is one of the most successful K1 paddlers of his generation.
Mallory Franklin is a British slalom canoeist who has competed internationally since 2009. She competes in both Kayak and Canadian Canoe classes, as well as the Kayak cross discipline.
Kimberley Woods is a British slalom canoeist who has competed in C1, K1 and KX1 at the international level since 2011. A six time world and eight time European champion, she won the bronze medal in both the K1 event and the first ever women's kayak-cross (KX1) event in Paris at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Miquel Travé Pujal is a Spanish slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2016.
Mònica Dòria Vilarrubla is an Andorran slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2014. Mònica was the flagbearer for Andorra at the 2020 Summer Olympics and at the 2024 Summer Olympics. At the 2020 Olympics, the finished 16th in the K1 event and 11th in the C1 event after being eliminated in the semifinals of both.

Elena Lilik is a German slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2014. She is from Weimar, Germany but resides in Augsburg, home of the Augsburg Eiskanal.
Angèle Hug is a French slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2017. She competes in the C1 and K1 events, having competed in C2 Mixed with Théo Roisin in 2017. She is from Les Ollières-sur-Eyrieux in the Ardèche department of France.
Noah Hegge is a German slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2016. Hegge competes in K1 and in Kayak cross. He lives and trains in Augsburg, home of the Eiskanal.
