The Republic of Poland is a Central European country and member of the European Union and NATO,among others. Lublin is the ninth-largest city in Poland and the second-largest city of historical Lesser Poland. It is the capital and the centre of Lublin Voivodeship with a population of 336,339. Lublin is the largest Polish city east of the Vistula River and is about 170 km (106 mi) to the southeast of Warsaw by road.
Roman Jacek Giertych is a Polish political figure,historian,advocate,and dissident against the PiS government. Giertych served in PiS government as Deputy Prime Minister of Poland and Minister of National Education from May 2006 to August 2007. He was a member of the Sejm from 2001 to 2007 and the chairman of the League of Polish Families party.
The College of Europe is a post-graduate institute of European studies with its main campus in Bruges,Belgium and further campuses in Warsaw,Poland and Tirana,Albania. The College of Europe in Bruges was founded in 1949 by leading historical European figures and founding fathers of the European Union,including Salvador de Madariaga,Winston Churchill,Paul-Henri Spaak and Alcide De Gasperi as one of the results of the 1948 Congress of Europe in The Hague to promote "a spirit of solidarity and mutual understanding between all the nations of Western Europe and to provide elite training to individuals who will uphold these values" and "to train an elite of young executives for Europe". It has the status of Institution of Public Interest,operating according to Belgian law. The second campus in Natolin (Warsaw),Poland opened in 1992. The College of Europe is historically linked to the establishment of the European Union and its predecessors,and to the creation of the European Movement International,of which the college is a supporting member. Federica Mogherini,former High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,was appointed as the Rector to start in September 2020;former President of the European Council Herman,Count Van Rompuy is chairman of the board.
Victoria Jane Nuland also known as Toria Nuland is an American diplomat currently serving as under secretary of state for political affairs since 2021. A former member of the US Foreign Service,she served as assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs from 2013 to 2017 and the 18th U.S. ambassador to NATO from 2005 to 2008. Since July 2023,Nuland has served as acting deputy secretary of state following the retirement of Wendy Sherman.
The University of Łódź is a public research university founded in 1945 in Łódź,Poland,as a continuation of three higher education institutions functioning in Łódźin the interwar period —the Teacher Training Institute (1921–1928),the Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences (1924–1928) and the local division of the Free Polish University of Warsaw (1928–1939).
Poland has been a member state of the European Union since 1 May 2004,with the Treaty of Accession 2003 signed on 16 April 2003 in Athens as the legal basis for Poland's accession to the EU. The actual process of integrating Poland into the EU began with Poland's application for membership in Athens on 8 April 1994,and then the confirmation of the application by all member states in Essen from 9–10 December 1994. Poland's integration into the European Union is a dynamic and continuously ongoing process.
Varso or Varso Place is a neomodern office complex in Warsaw,Poland. It was designed by Foster + Partners and developed by HB Reavis. The complex features three buildings;the main one,Varso Tower,is the tallest building in Poland,the tallest building in the European Union,and the sixth-tallest building in Europe at 310 m (1,020 ft) in height. It was topped out in February 2021 and completed in September 2022,with the opening of the observation deck planned for 2024.

She is also a Senior Fellow of the Zentrum Liberale Moderne (LibMod),an assistant professor at Warsaw University's Institute of Sociology and a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations.
Anna Pieńkosz is a Polish civil servant and diplomat,serving as an ambassador to Cuba (2015–2020).
Beata Anna Pęksa is a Polish diplomat,since 2023 serving as the European Union Ambassador to Turkmenistan. Between 2018 and 2020 she was Poland Ambassador to Iraq.
Anna Jolanta Sochańska is a Polish diplomat. Between 2019 and 2023 she served as Ambassador to the Republic of Ireland.
Izabela Matusz is a Polish diplomat;since 2022 she is serving as the European Union Ambassador to Panama. Prior to that,she was Ambassador of Poland to Peru (2013–2017).
Jacek Jankowski is a Polish diplomat. He was Polish Ambassador to Ethiopia and the African Union (2012–2017) and the European Union Ambassador to Zambia and COMESA (2019–2023).
Adam Mariusz Kwiatkowski is a Polish politician,since 2022 serving as an ambassador to the Holy See.
