Kate Foster (born 16 August 1985) is a British snowboarder. [1] She has won the British half-pipe championship three times and she competed in the women's halfpipe event at the 2006 Winter Olympics. [2]

Life

Foster was born in Canada and her brother James Foster is also a successful snowboarder [1] and coach. [3]

She competed in the women's halfpipe event at the 2006 Winter Olympics. [2]

In 2011 she won the British Halfpipe Championship for the third time. She also gained a silver at snowboardcross at the same event. [1]

In January 2010, Teter was named to the US Team for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. She won the silver medal in women's halfpipe at the Vancouver Games. Teter came in fourth at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Maëlle Danica Ricker is a Canadian retired snowboarder, who specialised in snowboard cross. She won an Olympic gold medal in the snowboard cross event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, to become the first Canadian woman to win a gold medal on home soil at the Olympics. She is also the 2013 World Champion and two-time Winter X Games Champion.

Jamie Louise Anderson is an American professional snowboarder. She won the gold medal in the inaugural Women's Slopestyle Event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia and repeated the feat at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, making her the first female snowboarder to win more than one Olympic gold medal. She has won gold medals in slopestyle at the Winter X Games in consecutive years in 2007/8 and 2012/3. She has 25 total medals: eighteen gold, five silver, and two bronze.
