Kathleen Beedles is a British producer, who has worked on a total of over 2500 episodes of various British soap operas to date. [1] She grew up in Rogart and now resides in London.
From 1999 to 2001, Beedles worked as a story associate on Coronation Street before moving onto "Emmerdale" as Story Editor. In 2005, Beedles was appointed Series Producer of British television soap opera Emmerdale , taking over from Steve Frost. She had worked as a producer and series editor for the ITV soap before taking on the role. During her time on the soap, she was responsible for many major storylines, including the Kings River showhome explosion storyline, and the Tom King kidnap plot. She was also responsible for the Who Killed Tom King? storyline, which was nominated for Best Storyline at the 2007 British Soap Awards. Under her tenure Emmerdale was nominated for a BAFTA for three consecutive years, won an RTS Award and the Broadcast Digital Award for the Who Killed Tom King online channel.
In January 2008, it was announced that Beedles was stepping down from her role. She was succeeded by Anita Turner. Her final episode of Emmerdale aired on 29 February 2008.
After Emmerdale, Beedles produced the ITV drama Heartbeat and was a story consultant on "River City" for the BBC. From December 2010, Beedles worked as the Series Story Producer on the BBC soap opera EastEnders . Her first storylines transmitted in March 2011. In March 2012, she decided to step down from her role to join "Hollyoaks" as a story consultant, being credited on both shows for the period June to August 2012. Beedles is now a Drama Development Exec for Lime Pictures.
Kathleen was Supervising Producer and Head Writer on MediaCorp's first English language multi racial soap/longform/daily drama Tanglin . Kathleen was part of the team who created and set up the show. It started airing 30 June 2015 and ran for 823 episodes, the longest running television show in Singapore. Kathleen is now Supervising Producer on the drama series Kin which followed. It has just reached its 500th episode and is hugely popular, surpassing Tanglin.
Emmerdale is a British television soap opera that is broadcast on ITV. The show is set in Emmerdale, a fictional village in the Yorkshire Dales. Created by Kevin Laffan, Emmerdale Farm was first broadcast on 16 October 1972. Interior scenes have been filmed at the Leeds Studios since its inception. Exterior scenes were first filmed in Arncliffe in Littondale, and the series may have taken its name from Amerdale, an ancient name of Littondale. Exterior scenes were later shot at Esholt, but are now shot at a purpose-built set on the Harewood estate.
Pauline Perpetua Sheen is an English actress. She began her career with roles on various television series, before fronting her own comedy sketch show, Pauline's Quirkes, in 1976. She later starred as Vicky Smith on the BBC drama series Angels (1982–1983), and achieved fame with her portrayal of Sharon Theodopolopodous on the long-running sitcom Birds of a Feather, for which she won a British Comedy Award and was nominated on three occasions for a National Television Award. In 1997, she was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress for her role in the BBC miniseries The Sculptress. Between 2010 and 2012, Quirke played Hazel Rhodes on the ITV soap opera Emmerdale.
Anne Charleston is an Australian actress, notable for her career locally and in the United Kingdom and Ireland in theatre and television. Charleston started her career in theatre in the mid 1950's, and has been a staple of the small screen since the early 1960s, starting with roles in telemovies, before making appearance's in the various Crawford Productions series starting from the latter 1960s and 1970s, before becoming known for her three different recurring roles in cult classic series Prisoner
Kenneth William Farrington is a retired English actor. He first came to fame playing the role of Billy Walker, wayward son of publican Annie, in ITV's longest-running soap opera, Coronation Street. Following a brief period as a film actor, Farrington secured the role of power-hungry Tom King in Emmerdale. After the character's high-profile death in December 2006, Farrington largely retired from acting, although he has appeared in occasional TV roles since then.
Gillian Louise Kearney is an English actress best known for her early role as Debbie McGrath in Channel 4's Liverpool-based soap opera Brookside and the spin-off mini-series Damon and Debbie, and for playing Jessica Harrison in the long-running BBC television medical drama series Casualty, as well as Emma Barton in the ITV Yorkshire-based soap opera Emmerdale. The role of Emma gained her recognition because of character's involvement in Emmerdale’s most high-profile storylines during her three-year stint.
Louise Berridge is a British historical fiction writer. She was previously a television producer and script editor, her most famous post being the executive producer of BBC's EastEnders between 2002 and 2004. During her tenure, the long-running soap opera received heavy media criticism and ratings slumped to just over 6 million viewers.
Zoe Tate is a fictional character from the British soap opera Emmerdale, played by Leah Bracknell. She made her first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 12 December 1989. Zoe was involved in many major storylines during her time on the soap, including the deaths of her father Frank and brother Chris, the betrayal and departure of her stepmother Kim, coming out as lesbian and a battle with schizophrenia. Zoe became the first lesbian character in a British soap opera when she came out in 1993. She departed on 22 September 2005.

Charlotte Bellamy is an English actress. She is known for her long-running role as Laurel Thomas in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale. Her other television roles include Sue Taylor in EastEnders (1997) and Harriet Potter in The Broker's Man (1998), before joining Emmerdale in 2002. She won the British Soap Award for Best Actress in 2017.

Isabel Hodgins is an English actress, known for portraying the role of Victoria Sugden in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale from 2006.
Dolly Skilbeck is a fictional character from the British television soap opera Emmerdale. Dolly made her first on-screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 22 February 1977. The character was initially played by Katharine Barker, before Jean Rogers took over the role in 1980. She remained in the role until her departure from Emmerdale in 1991. Dolly is characterised as kind, generous and a homemaker. She is a "townie" from Darlington who arrives in Beckindale to work at the local pub, The Woolpack. Writers quickly developed a romance with Matt Skilbeck. He was a widower and had previously has two children that had died.
Steve November is a British television producer and executive. Originally known as Steve Frost during his early career, he became a writer for the Sky One drama Dream Team. He also took roles as an assistant director until he became a scriptwriter on the ITV soap opera Emmerdale. He progressed to become the series producer, a role he then took on at Coronation Street and The Royal. Within ITV he was promoted to Head of Continuing Drama, where he made decisions regarding ITV soap operas and weekly drama series. During this time he also served as the Executive producer of Emmerdale. In 2013, November took on the job of ITV's Director of Drama. In this role, November was responsible for commissioning numerous ITV dramas. In 2016, November left ITV after sixteen years. He then joined Lionsgate as their creative director in charge of UK television. He then created the production company Further South Productions.
Lexi Nicholls is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera Emmerdale played by Sally Oliver. She appeared from 2007 to 2009.
Anita Turner is a British script editor and television producer. From 2008 to 2009, Turner was the series producer of the British television soap opera Emmerdale. She left the role after it was reported that her leadership on the soap had resulted in cast morale dropping, as well as being criticised for the controversial sacking of a child actor. Turner has since gone on to produce a series of the CBBC series Rocket's Island, as well as working as a script editor on various CBBC projects.
Dominic Power is an English actor. Power has portrayed Leon Taylor in the ITV police drama The Bill and Cameron Murray in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale.

Sadie Sinclair is a fictional character from the British television soap opera Emmerdale, played by Patsy Kensit. She made her first appearance during the episode broadcast on 10 May 2004. The character was introduced as the wife of Jimmy King, who arrived with his family in 2004. Kensit left the serial to accept a role on Holby City and Sadie made her final appearance on 21 September 2006. Kensit won the Best Bitch accolade for her portrayal of Sadie at the 2005 and 2006 Inside Soap Awards.
Kate Oates is a British television producer, who was born in Nottingham and graduated from Warwick University. She began her career working as a researcher and editorial assistant for Germaine Greer, before becoming a script editor for the soap opera Crossroads. In 2003, she joined the radio soap The Archers as a producer, a position which Oates credits as the majority of her training. After resigning from this job, Oates began working on the ITV soap opera Emmerdale as a script editor, during which time she assisted with the soap's fortieth anniversary celebrations and worked on British Soap Award-winning storylines. She remained in the position until 2012 when she joined Coronation Street as the assistant producer.
