Katrin Schmidt (born 28 September 1967) is a German badminton player, born in Langenhagen.

Schmidt competed in women's singles and women's doubles at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, and in women's doubles at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. [1]

Julie Jane Bradbury is a former English badminton player who represented Great Britain at the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games. She was part of the national mixed team that won the gold medal at the 1994 Commonwealth Games, also captured the silver medals in the mixed and women's doubles events. Along with those sporting achievements she is only the second person to hold all five titles in all three disciplines of badminton at the English National Championships. She reached a career high as world No. 1 in the mixed doubles and No. 4 in the women's doubles.

Qin Yiyuan is a Chinese former world level badminton player. Qin played internationally for China from the mid-1990s through the 2000 Summer Olympics, a period during which her fellow countrywomen Ge Fei and Gu Jun dominated international women's doubles play. Qin won women's doubles at the 1996 China Open, 1997 Thailand Open, 1998 Denmark Open with Tang Yongshu, and at the 1999 Thailand, French, and Denmark Opens, and 2000 Swiss Open with Gao Ling. She was a bronze medalist at the 1995 IBF World Championships and a silver medalist at the 1997 IBF World Championships with Tang Yongshu. She earned a bronze medal again at the 1999 edition of the tourney with Gao Ling. Katrin Borchert is an East German-born Australian sprint canoeist who competed from the late 1980s to 2001. Competing in three Summer Olympics, she won three medals with one silver and two bronzes. During her career, she has represented four countries: East Germany, then West Germany, then Germany followed by Australia.
