Career

In 2013, she was involved as a songwriter on "Romantic St' of Girls' Generation's 4th album, I Got A Boy , which hit Billboard No. 1 World album chart in January 2013. [1]

She graduated from Berklee College of Music majored in Electronic Production and Design (formerly Music Synthesis) and has developed Joombas Music Group as Chief Content Officer with Hyuk Shin, Justine Ok, [2] and Yena Seo in 2011. At Joombas Music Group, she directed content on Joombas TV (the online media channel of Joombas Music Group), including industry news, interviews, and online documentaries.

As a digital content creator and multimedia designer, she has either directed, produced, edited many interviews, or created portraits for music artists Marques Houston, Blackbear, Oddisse, [3] BTS, Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Charlie Puth, Dua Lipa, Janelle Monáe, Jay Park, J. Lo, Jonas Brothers, JP Saxe, Rick Ross, Selena Gomez, and many more. [4] [5] [6]

As a columnist, she worked with Korean Hiphop/R&B online magazine HiphopLE. She wrote the series of 'R&B Talk', [7] 'Feature', [8] and 'Stars in Love', which also published offline, by the Korean fashion magazine 'FAST' in 2013. In July 2013, she became a panel of the official podcast radio of HiphopLE, "The Art Of Hip-Hop" and "Hot Issue". She's also known as the voice of HiphopLE's intro clip, speaking the slogan 'One Step Closer to Hip-hop and R&B Music'. In February 2014, HiphopLE held a contest to find the new instrumental for the intro clip with using Kayla, Jolly V and Hypnos's voices. [9]

On 28 January 2014, Kayla made her music video directing debut in the single album, "Champion" by Born I Music and Justine. The single was released digitally and distributed worldwide by Fiera Music/Sony Music Entertainment Korea. [10] Subsequently, "Champion" was also featured in a Sony Music compilation album for the Sochi 2014 Olympics released in 2014. Also listed on the album were artists such as Pharrell Williams, Daft Punk, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Shakira, Tinashe, Ailee and many more. [11] [12]

On 20 November 2020, she released 2 debut singles "Across The Galaxy", and "F*** Scorpio" on SoundCloud. She currently works on various projects as a music producer and multimedia designer in New York City. [13]

M.I.B (band)

M.I.B was a South Korean hip hop quartet from Jungle Entertainment. Jungle Entertainment reported that 1.7 million USD was invested for the group's debut album since 2009. Helicopter (CLC song) 2020 single by CLC

"Helicopter" is a song recorded by South Korean girl group CLC. It was released by Cube Entertainment and distributed by Kakao M on September 2, 2020. An English version of the song was released on the same day. This is the group's final song as a seven-member group, following Elkie's departure in February 2021.
