Keeping The Nite Light Burning is an acoustic studio album by the English rock band Magnum, released in 1993 by Jet Records.

Inspired by MTV Unplugged , Tony Clarkin liked the idea or rearranging some of their older material, with an acoustic and contemporary style. He stripped down arrangements, changed timing and expanded with a horn section and a cello to achieve reggae, blues, jazz, a cappella and soul-elements into Magnum's new sound.

Magnum parted company with their manager, Keith Baker, and Mark Stanway took over management. Baker had seen the band through their most successful era, taking them from house residence at a pub to selling out arena tours across the world. [1] The album didn't chart, and was not followed by a tour to support it. [2]

When the suggestion of an acoustic album was first made we were attracted to the idea of giving some old favourites "new suits" unrestricted by style and form besides those naturally associated with the word "acoustic," we set to recording. Chase the Dragon is the third studio album by English rock band Magnum. It was released in 1982 on Jet Records. Overseen by the Kansas producer Jeff Glixman, Chase the Dragon was the first recorded appearance by the new keyboard player Mark Stanway, although he had made his live debut at Magnum's appearance at the Reading Festival in 1980. The album was recorded over 13 days at Town House Studios in London, and the following year Tony Clarkin flew to Axis Studios in Atlanta to mix it. However, there was a two-year delay before the album's release in 1982. Many of the tracks have remained in Magnum's live set for many years, including "Soldier of the Line", "The Spirit" and "Sacred Hour".

Magnum II is the eponymous second studio album by the English rock band Magnum. It was released in 1979 on Jet Records. Magnum II followed on from the success of Magnum's debut album, Kingdom of Madness. The album was produced by former Ten Years After bass player Leo Lyons, who had success with producing Phenomenon, Force It and No Heavy Petting for UFO. As with their debut album Kingdom of Madness, much of the material on Magnum II was already written and had already been previewed in Magnum's live set and were suitably "road tested". The album, however failed to chart on its release in October 1979. Both "Changes", released in September 1979, and "Foolish Heart", released in November 1979, were singles.
