Keith Peters (born 25 January 1986) is a Papua New Guinean former professional rugby league footballer who played for the Penrith Panthers in the NRL. Peters had also captained Papua New Guinea at international level.

Peters moved from Papua New Guinea to Australia in 1993 aged 7 and played his junior rugby league for Cambridge Park. [1] He attended Patrician Brothers College Blacktown until 2004. He has played several games for the Penrith Panthers, but in 2009 spent most of his time with their feeder club Windsor.[ citation needed ]

Peters was named in the Papua New Guinea training squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup. [2]

Peters was named in the PNG squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup. [3] Peters was named as part of the Papua New Guinea squad for the 2009 Pacific Cup. [4]

The 2019 Intrust Super Cup was the PNG Hunters sixth season in the Queensland Cup after securing their future for the next four years until 2022. Adex Wera was the captain of the team and he was assisted by his deputy Moses Meninga The Hunters only won four of their games and drew one with a record eighteen losses for the season. 18 new players made their debuts while poor form and discipline let the team down. Five Hunters players were named in the Papua New Guinea Kumuls squad for the 2019 Oceania Cup Pool B Ox & Palm Pacific Invitational Tests against Toa Samoa and Fiji Bati and also for the match against the touring Great Britain Lions.
