Keith Wooldridge (born 24 October 1943) is a former professional tennis player from the United Kingdom who was active in the 1960s. He was born in Stoke-on-Trent, England.

His best singles result at a Grand Slam tournament was reaching the third round at Wimbledon in 1964 and 1966. He also reached the third round at the Australian Championships in 1963, but this was due to two walkovers in the first rounds.

Wooldridge won the Surrey Championships on grass in 1966 defeating Peter Curtis in the final and the same tournament again in 1968 defeating Ken Fletcher in the final.

After his active playing career, he was employed by the LTA as a development coach for female players from 1995 until his retirement in 2005. [1]

Personal life

He married Scottish tennis player Winnie Shaw in 1972. [2]

Vladimir Viktorovich Korotkov is a retired Soviet tennis player who won three Junior Grand Slam tournaments, Wimbledon Boys Singles in 1965, 1966 and the French Juniors in 1966. He also won the mixed doubles at the 1968 Summer Olympics where tennis was a "demonstration sport". He won the men's doubles event at the 1973 Summer Universiade and the 1977 USSR singles championship. From 1981 until his retirement in 1996, Korotkov was coaching at several sports clubs.

Tennis in Scotland was introduced from France in the Middle Ages. During the 20th century it was a minor sport, but has obtained some prominence due to the successes of Andy Murray and other Scots. While tennis courts are not uncommon, the country's oceanic climate has made it historically quite hard for Scottish players to develop. Clay Iles is a former British tennis player, and currently is an LTA licensed tennis coach. He has also worked as a sports writer and tennis umpire. He competed at the Wimbledon Championships twelve times between 1962 and 1974. He won 6 career singles titles.
