Kelly Altmann (born 27 April 1993) is an Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, currently playing for the Collingwood Magpies.

Career

Altmann's elite-level career commenced in 2019 when she was signed by the Adelaide Thunderbirds in the Australian Super Netball league. She had been a training partner at the South Australian based team for two seasons prior to being signed onto the senior list by the club ahead of the 2019 season. [2] During her time as a training partner, Altmann was vice-captain for the Thunderbirds' reserves team, the Southern Force in the Australian Netball League. [2] Altmann played every match for the club in 2019, though she was not re-signed by the club at the end of the season. [3] She was signed by the Collingwood Magpies ahead of the 2020 season as an injury replacement player, replacing the long-term injured Kelsey Browne at the club. [4]

2019 Suncorp Super Netball season Sports season

The 2019 Suncorp Super Netball season was the third season of the premier netball league in Australia. The season began on 27 April and concluded on 15 September 2019, however it was suspended for most of the month of July due to the Netball World Cup, which was played in Liverpool.

2020 Suncorp Super Netball season Sports season

The 2020 Suncorp Super Netball season was the fourth season of the premier netball league in Australia. The season was originally scheduled to commence on 2 May, though was delayed to 1 August due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The defending premiers, New South Wales Swifts were eliminated in the first week of the finals series by the eventual runners-up West Coast Fever. The premiers were the Melbourne Vixens, who defeated the Fever by two goals in the Grand Final at Nissan Arena in Brisbane.
