Kelly Murray (born April 26, 1994) is a Canadian ice hockey defenceman.
During 2012 to 2014, Murray played college ice hockey with the Cornell Big Red women's ice hockey program in the ECAC Hockey and Ivy League conferences of the NCAA Division I. Injuries limited her number of games played and she appeared in only 37 games across two seasons with the Big Red, amassing a total of 12 points on a goal and 11 assists. [1]
Murray left Cornell to join the UBC Thunderbirds women's ice hockey program of Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS; renamed U Sports in 2016) ahead of the 2014–15 season. [2] She played for the team until 2017, serving as an alternate captain for the team and recording 52 points in 80 games. [3] She was named to the 2017 USports women's all-star team. [4] [5]
She was drafted 12th overall by the Calgary Inferno in the 2017 CWHL draft. [6] She signed her first professional contract with the Inferno ahead of the 2017–18 season. She would win the Clarkson Cup with the team the following year. [7]
After the collapse of the CWHL in May 2019, she left North America to sign with SDE Hockey in Sweden. [8] [9] She served as an alternate captain for the team in her first SDHL season, during which she scored 13 points in 34 games as SDE made the playoffs for the first time in history. She scored her first SDHL goal in a 6–0 victory against Göteborg HC on November 17, 2019.
Murray represented Canada in the women's ice hockey tournament at the 2017 Winter Universiade in Almaty. She contributed 5 assists in five games to Canada's silver medal effort.
Her sister, Eden Murray, also played professionally with the Inferno. [10] Her uncle, Andy Murray, is a former NHL head coach, her cousins Brady Murray and Jordy Murray both played professional hockey in Switzerland, and her cousin Sarah Murray was head coach of the unified Korean team at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Iya Viktorovna Gavrilova is a Russian ice hockey player, currently affiliated with the Calgary section of the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA). She was a member of the Russian national team during 2003 to 2016 and represented Russia at the Winter Olympic Games in 2006, 2010, and 2014, and at eleven IIHF Women's World Championships, winning bronze medals at the tournaments in 2013 and 2016 At the 2015 Winter Universiade in Granada, Spain, Gavrilova was part of Russia's gold medal-winning team, the first team to defeat Canada in FISU women's ice hockey history.
The Calgary Inferno was a women's ice hockey team that joined the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) for the 2011–12 season. The team played its home games at Joan Snyder Rink at WinSport Canada in Calgary, Alberta. After two seasons without an official name, in 2013 the team picked a moniker drawing from Calgary's National Hockey League franchise, the Calgary Flames, with whom they had a partnership. For the 2013-14 season, it was announced that all Inferno home-games would be streamed live by PCSN.tv.
Jillian Pauline Saulnier is a Canadian ice hockey forward currently with PWHL New York of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She is a two-time Olympian for Canada, winning a gold medal in 2022 and a silver medal in 2018.
Jessica Eve Campbell is a Canadian ice hockey coach for the Coachella Valley Firebirds in the American Hockey League and former forward with the Canadian women's national team. She made her debut playing with the Canadian national team at the 2014 4 Nations Cup and won a silver medal with the team at the 2015 IIHF Women's World Championship.

She is also a member of Canada women's national ice hockey team, with whom she won the 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship and the 2022 Winter Olympics gold medal.
