SDE Hockey are an ice hockey club in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). They play at Enebybergs Ishall in the Enebyberg community of Danderyd Municipality in Metropolitan Stockholm.

History

The club was formed in 2007 from the merger of the ice hockey sections of Stocksunds IF, Danderyds SK, and Enebybergs IF, the initials of which form the club's name. [1]

The club first earned promotion to the SDHL in 2014. They have stayed in the league since, although were forced to play in the relegation series in each of their first five SDHL seasons. [2] They made the quarter-finals for the first time in 2019–20 season. [3] [4]

Julie Zwarthoed is a Dutch ice hockey winger and captain of SDE HF in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). She has represented the Netherlands at nine IIHF World Championships.

Anna Sabina Lambertz Küller is a Swedish ice hockey player and member of the Swedish national ice hockey team, currently playing for AIK Hockey Dam in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). She has played the entirety of her senior club career with AIK IF and has served as the team's captain since 2016.

Hanna Olsson is a Swedish ice hockey player and member of the Swedish national team, currently serving as captain of Frölunda HC in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). She is considered one of the best young Swedish players and was already the seventeenth all-time scorer in SDHL history at 21 years of age.

Lovisa Berndtsson is a Swedish ice hockey goaltender, most recently playing in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) with the Buffalo Beauts. The St. Thomas Tommies women's ice hockey program represents St. Thomas University in the Atlantic University Sport conference of U Sports. In their history, the Tommies have featured 86 Academic All-Canadians. In 2019, the program captured their first-ever AUS championship.

The 2022–23 SDHL season was the sixteenth ice hockey season of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). The season began on 16 September 2022 and concluded on 26 February 2023. Göteborg HC withdrew from the league on 2 November 2022, reducing the number of teams to nine for the remainder of the regular season.
