For the first time, Trans7 was the official broadcaster of 2018 FIFA World Cup together with the sister channel Trans TV, also with Telkom Indonesia, K-Vision and MNC Media. Trans7 had broadcast 8 group-stage matches as well as shared broadcasting of quarterfinal, semifinal, 3rd place playoff, and final matches from Trans TV, also from UseeTV, K-Vision, and MNC Sports.

However, his name began to be widely known thanks to his role as Bobby in the soap opera Eneng dan Kaos Kaki Ajaib. In addition, as a singer, Shahab released his first album sponsored by KFC titled Umay. The album achieved success with triple platinum awards from its CD sales of 250 thousand copies. Through this album, Shahab also won the AMI Award for Best Children Male Solo Artist and AMI Award for Best Children Album at 14th Annual Anugerah Musik Indonesia. In 2009, he began playing movie with the personnel of Indonesian rock and roll band, The Changcuters entitled The Tarix Jabrix 2.
The 2018 Surabaya bombings were a series of terrorist attacks that initially occurred on 13 May 2018 in three churches in Surabaya, the second largest city in Indonesia and the capital of East Java province. The explosions occurred at Immaculate Saint Mary Catholic Church on Ngagel Madya Street; Indonesia Christian Church on Diponegoro Street; and Surabaya Central Pentecost Church on Arjuno Street. The first explosion took place at the SMTB Church; the second and third explosions followed within an hour.
Lorong Waktu is an Indonesian Islamic religious science fiction television series created by Deddy Mizwar and directed by Abdul Kadir, Aldisar Syafar and Deddy Mizwar himself with scenario written by Wahyu H.S. This series was produced by Demi Gisela Citra Sinema and aired by SCTV in 1999 to coincide with the month of Ramadan 1420 Hijri. After the success of its first season, the series was continued in five other seasons for a total of 207 episodes until its final broadcast in 2006. In 2019, the series was remade in an animated format with the same title and aired during the month of Ramadan regularly by SCTV.
