Kenneth Winston Starr was an American lawyer and judge who as independent counsel authored the Starr Report,which served as the basis of the impeachment of Bill Clinton. He headed an investigation of members of the Clinton administration,known as the Whitewater controversy,from 1994 to 1998. Philip Benjamin Heymann was an American legal scholar and federal prosecutor who headed the Criminal Division of the Justice Department as Assistant Attorney General during the Carter administration and was briefly Deputy Attorney General in the Clinton administration before he resigned over management and policy differences as well as perceived interference by the White House. He was involved internationally in supporting the rule of law in criminal justice systems. In domestic politics he was a vocal supporter of civil and political liberties and,as such,was actively critical of the George W. Bush administration,particularly its warrantless domestic spying program. Even before the September 11 attacks,Heymann studied and published on how prosecution of antiterror policies can be done consistent with the rule of law in a democratic society. He was later James Bar Ames Professor of Law,Emeritus at Harvard Law School,where he began teaching in 1969.
Joseph Matthew Gaydos was an American lawyer and Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania,serving 8 terms from 1968 to 1992. Gaydos was the first Slovak American to serve in the United States Congress.

Schnader Harrison Segal &Lewis LLP was a U.S. law firm based in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania,and founded in Philadelphia in 1935 by former Pennsylvania Attorney General William A. Schnader,Bernard G. Segal,a former Deputy Attorney General serving under Schnader,and Francis A. Lewis. The firm was initially named Schnader &Lewis. Eventually,Segal was added as a name partner. The fourth name partner,Earl G. Harrison,joined the firm in 1948. When the firm announced its closure it had roughly 90 attorneys in six offices nationwide. On August 3,2023,the firm announced it would dissolve and permanently cease operations.
Arlin Marvin Adams was a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. As late as 2013 he served as counsel to Schnader Harrison Segal &Lewis LLP,and was listed as a NAFTA adjudicator.
Joseph DiSarro is an American professor and chair in the Department of Political Science at Washington &Jefferson College. In addition to his teaching duties,DiSarro is chair of the Legal Profession Committee and is the Pre-Law Advisor and Director of the college's Pre-Law Program. He has been pre-law advisor Washington &Jefferson College since 1978,guiding approximately 1,117 students to law school as of 2012. Donald Joseph Guter is an American educator,lawyer and retired United States Navy rear admiral who was the 10th president and dean of South Texas College of Law Houston from 2009 to 2019. He previously served as the 10th dean of the Duquesne University School of Law from 2005 to 2008,when he was dismissed by Duquesne University president Charles J. Dougherty over a tenure battle.
