Kennedy Richards Jr. (born 1987) is a Trinidad and Tobago politician from the People's National Movement (PNM). [1] He represented Point Fortin in the House of Representatives from 2020 to 2025. [2]
Before entering politics,Richards was a pilot for Caribbean Airlines. [3] In 2019,he became mayor of Point Fortin at the age of 32. [4] He is councillor for Hollywood in Point Fortin. [5] His father Kennedy Richards Sr. was also a councillor in the area. [6]
In the 2020 Trinidad and Tobago general election,he was elected to parliament. [7] He stood in the 2025 Trinidad and Tobago general election. [8] He was unseated by Ernesto Kesar of the United National Congress (UNC). [9]
