Kerrin Petty-Nilsson (born 6 January 1970 in Townshend, Vermont, United States), is a US-Swedish cross-country skier. After competing on the cross-country ski team at the University of Vermont, she represented the United States during the 1994 Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer and in Nagano in 1998. [1] She won the 1998 women's main competition of Vasaloppet. [2] and the unofficial women's competitions in 1994 and 1996.
In 1996, she won the Swedish women's 30 kilometers national championship. [3] and in 1996 and 1997, she won Tjejvasan. [4]
Petty-Nilsson now works as an environment and health-protection inspector of Forshaga Municipality. [5] [6]

Vasaloppet is an annual long distance cross-country ski race held on the first Sunday of March. The 90 km (56 mi) course starts in the village of Berga, just south of Sälen in western Dalarna, Sweden, and ends in the town of Mora in the central part of the province. It is the oldest cross-country ski race in the world, as well as the one with the highest number of participants.
Nils Emanuel Karlsson, better known as Mora-Nisse, was a Swedish cross-country skier. Karlsson won gold in the 50 km event at the 1948 Winter Olympics and nine Vasaloppet victories.
Bernt Assar Rönnlund was a Swedish cross-country skier. Rönnlund's biggest success was at the 1962 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Zakopane where he won two gold medals and a silver (50 km). As a result, he earned the Svenska Dagbladet Gold Medal that year for his championship successes. Rönnlund was the anchorman of the Swedish 4 × 10 km relay team at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, bringing the team from fourth place to victory. Rönnlund also won the Vasaloppet in 1967 and the 50 km event at the Holmenkollen ski festival twice. For his cross-country skiing successes, Rönnlund was awarded the Holmenkollen Medal in 1968.
Sven-Åke Lundbäck is a former Swedish cross-country skier. He competed at the 1972, 1976 and 1980 Olympics in the 15 km, 30 km and 4 × 10 km events and won a gold medal over 15 km in 1972. He was close to a bronze medal in the 4 × 10 km relay in 1972, but fell near the finish; he had another fourth place in the relay in 1980.
Mikhail Viktorovich Botvinov ; born 17 November 1967 in Lidinka, Soviet Union) is a Russian-born Austrian cross-country skier who competed from 1990 to 2007 for both Russia and Austria.
Anita Moen, sometimes credited as Anita Moen-Guidon, is a Norwegian former cross-country skier who competed from 1987 to 2003. She won five medals at the Winter Olympics with three silvers and two bronzes.
Marie-Helene Östlund, is a retired Swedish cross-country skier. Östlund won a world championship title on the 20 km in Oberstdorf, West Germany, in 1987. For the feat, she was awarded the Svenska Dagbladet Gold Medal, shared with the Swedish ice hockey team. Östlund also won the Jerring Award the same year. She is married to fellow Swedish cross-country skier Erik Östlund.
Anna Frithioff is a Swedish cross-country skier who competed from 1992 to 1999. She won a bronze medal in the 4 × 5 km relay at the 1995 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Thunder Bay, and had her best individual finish of ninth in the 5 km event at those same championships.
Britta Johanna Helena Johansson Norgren is a Swedish cross-country skier who has been competing since 2002. She won a bronze medal in the 4 × 5 km at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec. Her best individual finish at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships is 26th in the individual sprint at Sapporo in 2007.
Carina Görlin is a Swedish former cross-country skier who competed from 1991 to 1994. Competing at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, she had her best career finish of seventh in the 4 × 5 km relay and her best individual finish of 14th in the 5 km.
Jenny Hansson, born 26 August 1980, is a Swedish former cross-country skier who competed between 2002 and 2013. Her best World Cup finish was third in the 4 × 5 km relay in Sweden in November 2008. Hansson's best individual finish was 39th in a 10 km event in Switzerland in 2007. She won Birkebeinerrennet in 2010, and in 2011 she won the women's race in the ski marathon Vasaloppet. In 2011, she won Tjejvasan.

Annika Evaldsson is a Swedish cross-country skier who competed from 1992 to 2002. Her best World Cup finish was seventh in a sprint event in Sunne, Sweden on 11 March 1997.
Sofia Lind,, is a Swedish cross-country skier. She won the women's race at the Vasaloppet four times, in 1997, 1999, 2004 and 2005. She also had the best time among the women in 1996, but prior to 1997, there was no official women's championship.

Ulrica Persson, born 7 March 1975, is a Swedish cross-country skier. She won the women's main competition of Vasaloppet in 2001 and 2003. In 2003, she also won Tjejvasan. She also competed in the women's 30 kilometre classical at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
Laila Kveli is a Norwegian cross-country skier. She finished second in the women's main competition of Vasaloppet in 2012, and won the same competition in 2013 and 2014.
Elin Ek,, is a Swedish cross-country skier. She participated at the 1998 Olympic Winter Games in Nagano, the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City and the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin. Elin won the Tjejvasan in 1999 and 2006. and the Vasaloppet main women's event in 2007. She also won the women's Worldloppet in the 2006/2007 season.
Henrik Eriksson,, is a Swedish former cross-country skier. When it came to club competitions, he competed for IFK Mora SK. Competing at elite level between 1994 and 2006, he participated at Vasaloppet several times, winning the event in 2001. In Vasaloppet 2002, he ended up ninth and Vasaloppet in 2004 he ended up tenth.
