Tjejvasan is a cross-country skiing event in Sweden, running from Oxberg to Mora, a distance of 30 kilometers. It is only open to female skiers. Being annual, the first event was first held in 1988.

Djurgårdens IF Ishockeyförening, commonly known as Djurgårdens IF, Djurgården Hockey, Djurgården, is a professional ice hockey team based in Stockholm, Sweden, affiliated with the Djurgårdens IF umbrella organization. Djurgården compete in the Swedish second-tier ice hockey league, the HockeyAllsvenskan. The men's team is the most successful Swedish ice hockey team of all time, as 16-time Swedish champions, 12-time runners-up, 26-time finalists, and leaders of the marathon table for the top flight of Swedish hockey. The ice hockey section was first established in 1922 and has since been playing in the Swedish league system, with the exception of four years in the 1930s when the hockey section was temporarily dissolved.

In season XII, 2021–2022, the circuit included 15 events, in a professional tour for the 35 Pro Teams involved. From 2015 to 2022, the official name of the circuit was Visma Ski Classics, thanks to their main sponsor. The special thing about the Ski Classics concept is that anyone can start the races: professional or amateur, male or female, 25 or 75 years old. Everyone stands together on the same starting line to face the same weather conditions and the same course.

Västerviks Ishockeyklubb – commonly known as Västerviks IK or VIK – is a professional ice hockey team based in Västervik, Sweden. They currently play in the second-highest league in Swedish ice hockey system, HockeyAllsvenskan. The club had spent decades yo-yoing between the third and fourth tiers of Swedish ice hockey, Division 1 and Division 2, before securing promotion on March 31, 2016, to HockeyAllsvenskan for the 2016–17 season.
The 2014–15 Hockeyettan season was the 16th season that Hockeyettan has functioned as the third tier of ice hockey in Sweden, organized by the Swedish Ice Hockey Association (SIHA). The initial groups began on 21 September 2014 and ended on 10 December 2014. The following Allettan groups and continuation groups started on 27 December 2014 and finished on 15 February 2015. The promotion playoffs to the HockeyAllsvenskan qualifier began on 19 February 2015 and ended on 6–7 March 2015. The Hockeyettan qualifiers began on 1 March 2015 and ended on 25 March 2015. The HockeyAllsvenskan qualifier began on 12 March 2015 and ended on 4 April 2015.

The season started on 12 April 2014 and ended on 11 October 2014. The teams promoted to Division 1 were: Piteå IF, Akropolis IF, Södertälje FK, Carlstad United BK, FC Höllviken, and Eskilsminne IF.

The 1948–49 Svenska mästerskapet was the 18th season of Svenska mästerskapet, a tournament held to determine the Swedish Champions of men's handball. The tournament was contested by all Allsvenskan teams and all District Champions, along with invited teams from Division II. 32 teams competed in the tournament. IFK Kristianstad were the defending champions, but were eliminated by IFK Lidingö in the semifinals. IFK Lidingö won the title, defeating cross-town rivals SoIK Hellas in the final. The semifinals and final were played on 19–20 March in Eriksdalshallen in Stockholm. The final was watched by 1,403 spectators.
The 2018–19 Svenska Cupen was the 63rd season of the Svenska Cupen and the seventh season with the current format. The winners of the competition will secure a spot in the second qualifying round of the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League, unless they had already qualified for European competition in the 2019–20 season, in which case the qualification spot will go to fourth-placed team of the 2018 Allsvenskan. A total of 96 clubs will enter the competition, 64 teams from district sites and 32 from the Allsvenskan and the Superettan.
