Rahul Sharad Dravid is an Indian cricket coach and former captain of the Indian national team,currently serving as its head coach. Prior to his appointment to the senior men's national team,Dravid was the Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy (NCA),and the head coach of the India Under-19 and India A teams. Under his tutelage,the Under-19 team finished as runners-up at the 2016 U-19 Cricket World Cup and won the 2018 U-19 Cricket World Cup. Known for his successful batting technique,Dravid scored 24,177 runs in international cricket and is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket. He is colloquially known as Mr. Dependable and often referred to as The Wall. He helped the Indian national cricket team become the winner of the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy.
Hit wicket is a method of dismissal in the sport of cricket. This method of dismissal is governed by Law 35 of the Laws of Cricket. The striker is out "hit wicket" if,after the bowler has entered his delivery stride and while the ball is in play,his wicket is put down by his bat or his person. The striker may do this whilst preparing to receive or receiving a delivery or in setting off for his first run after playing the delivery. In simple language,if the striking batsman knocks the bails off the stumps or uproots the stumps,while attempting to hit the ball or take off for a run,he is out hit wicket.
John Small was an English professional cricketer who played during the 18th century and had one of the longest careers on record. Born at Empshott,Hampshire,he is generally regarded as the greatest batsman of the 18th century and acknowledged as having been the first to master the use of the modern straight bat which was introduced in the 1760s. He probably scored the earliest known century in important cricket. The strength of the Hambledon/Hampshire team during Small's prime years can be seen in the team being rated the (unofficial) Champion County in 10 seasons:1766–1771,1776–1777,1779 and 1783. He died at Petersfield,where he was in residence for most of his life and where he established businesses.
Malcolm Andrew Nash was a Welsh cricket player and coach. He played first-class cricket for Glamorgan. Nash was a left-arm medium-pace bowler and useful lower-order left-handed batsman. He made his debut for the county in 1966 and was released by the county after the 1983 season. He captained the county in 1980 and 1981. He took the most wickets for Glamorgan in 1969 when it won the county championship. In 1985,he played his last one-day match for Shropshire. Between 1966 and 1983 in his 17 years career,Nash took 993 first-class wickets,scored 7,129 runs and held 148 catches. He died on 30 July 2019 in London at the age of 74 years.
Jerome Everton Taylor is a Jamaican cricketer who has played as a fast bowler for the West Indies. Taylor eventually picked up 100 wickets for the Windies in both tests and odis. During 2017 he reversed an initial decision to retire from international cricket. Taylor has also featured for Jamaica,English sides Somerset,Leicestershire and Sussex,CPL teams St Lucia Zouks and Jamaica Tallawahs and IPL sides Pune Warriors and Mumbai Indians in his cricketing career. Taylor was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2016 T20 World Cup. He is the only bowler to have ever taken a hat-trick in a Champions Trophy match,which he did in the 2006 tournament against Australia,and that was the first hat-trick taken by a West Indian bowler in the ODI format.
Moeen Munir Ali is an English cricketer who serves as vice-captain for England in limited overs cricket. He played Test cricket for England between 2014 and 2023,when he became only the 16th person to hit 3,000 runs and take 200 wickets in Tests. In domestic cricket he represents Warwickshire,having previously played for Worcestershire. He has also played in multiple Twenty20 leagues,including for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.
Kieron Adrian Pollard is a Trinidadian former cricketer,who captained the West Indies cricket team in limited overs cricket. He currently plays in various T20 leagues around the globe as an all-rounder. He also captains MI Emirates and MI New York in the SA20 &MLC respectively. He was part of the 2012 ICC World T20 winning team for West Indies.

Under his captaincy England won the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup.

Root is currently the leading run-scorer among all active batsmen and the tenth highest run-scorer of all time in Test cricket. He was part of the England team that won the 2019 Cricket World Cup where he top scored for England.
In cricket,a hat-trick occurs when a bowler takes three wickets with consecutive deliveries. The deliveries may be interrupted by an over bowled by another bowler from the other end of the pitch or the other team's innings,but must be three consecutive deliveries by the individual bowler in the same match. Only wickets attributed to the bowler count towards a hat-trick;run outs do not count,although they can contribute towards a so-called team hat-trick,which is ostensibly a normal hat-trick except that the three successive deliveries can be wickets from any bowler in the team and with any mode of dismissal.

The Australia national cricket team toured India between 10 October to 2 November 2013,playing a Twenty20 International match and seven-match One Day International series against India. During the second ODI match,all of the first five Australian batsmen made a score of fifty or more,a feat which no side had previously done. In the second match,India chased down the target of 360 runs to win,making this the second highest run-chase to win an ODI game. Two weeks later in the sixth match,India again chased down the Australian total of 350 runs to record the third highest run-chase to win a game. Coincidentally,all three highest run chases had come against Australia. In the seventh and final match,Indian batsman Rohit Sharma became the third man to make a double-century in ODI cricket,when he scored 209 from 158 balls. His innings included 16 sixes,the most in an ODI innings beating the previous record of 15 held by Australian cricketer Shane Watson. The record was later broken by England's Eoin Morgan who hit 17 sixes against Afghanistan in 2019.
Ashton James Turner is an Australian cricketer who debuted for Western Australia during the 2012–13 season,and is also contracted to the Perth Scorchers. From Perth,Turner represented Western Australia at under-15 (schoolboys),under-17 and under-19 level. and captained the under-17 team to their National Championships win. A right-arm off spinner,he toured India with the Australian under-19 team in September and October 2011,taking eight wickets from six matches in a quadrangular tournament involving the Australian,Indian,Sri Lankan,and West Indian under-19 teams. At the 2012 Under-19 World Cup,he was Australia's first-choice spinner,ahead of Victoria's Ashton Agar,and took eleven wickets from six matches,with his best figures 4/28 against Nepal.

The 2010 Twenty20 Cup Final,known for sponsorship purposes as the 2010 Friends Provident t20 Final,was a 20 overs-per-side cricket match between Hampshire County Cricket Club and Somerset County Cricket Club played on 14 August 2010 at the Rose Bowl in Southampton.
