Kevin Dion Murphy (born September 8, 1963) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Diego Chargers, and Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL). [1] [2] He was selected by the Buccaneers in the second round of the 1986 NFL draft. [3] He was converted from defensive lineman to a linebacker in the NFL. Murphy was ranked 80th on the USA Today Sports Weekly list of the top 100 players in Buccaneers’ franchise history. Individuals chosen to be on the list were selected based on their overall positive contributions that they made during their playing career. [4]
Murphy played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners. He was an All-Conference selection in 1982, 1983, and 1985 and an All-American in 1985. In a 247Sports article titled “Ranking Oklahoma’s 5 best football teams of all time,” Murphy was favorably mentioned regarding his “All-American” season while playing on ”Switzer’s third and final National Title team” in 1985. Brooks played college football for the Florida State Seminoles, earning consensus All-American honors twice. He was selected by the Buccaneers in the first round of the 1995 NFL draft. An 11-time Pro Bowl selection and five-time first-team All-Pro, Brooks was the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2002 en route to winning the franchise's first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XXXVII. Following his retirement, Brooks served as co-owner and president of the Tampa Bay Storm in the Arena Football League (AFL) from 2011 to 2017. He was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2016.

He began his coaching career in 1976 at his alma mater, the University of Oklahoma, and has also coached on professional teams. From 1995 to 2002, he was a coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and has also coached privately.

Ervin L. Randle is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) from 1985 to 1992 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs. He attended Baylor University, where he played college football. He was selected by the Buccaneers in the third round of the 1985 NFL draft. He is the older brother of Hall of Famer John Randle.

He played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide, where he was twice recognized as an All-American, and was a member of two BCS National Championship teams. He was selected as a strong safety by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft, where he played for two and a half seasons before being traded to the St. Louis Rams in 2014, where he moved to the linebacker position. He also played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos.

He played college football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, twice earning All-American honors, and was selected by the Buccaneers in the second round of the 2012 NFL draft. Since entering the NFL, David has been named to three All-Pro teams, one Pro Bowl and won Super Bowl LV during the 2020 season, in a 31–9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Shaquil Akeem Barrett is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Nebraska–Omaha Mavericks before transferring to the Colorado State Rams. Barrett was signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent after the 2014 NFL draft. After five seasons with the Broncos, including winning Super Bowl 50, he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Barrett's level of play increased, making the Pro Bowl and All-Pro teams in 2019 after leading the league in sacks, and in 2021 won Super Bowl LV, recording a sack in the game. He signed with the Miami Dolphins in 2024 before retiring from football shortly after.
Daniel Ray Spradlin is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and St. Louis Cardinals. He was selected by the Cowboys in the fifth round of the 1981 NFL draft. He played college football at the University of Tennessee.
