Kevin John Nichols OAM [1] (born 4 July 1955 in Grafton, New South Wales) is a former track cyclist and Olympic gold medallist.
His daughter, Kate Nichols, is a road racing cyclist. [2]
At the 1984 Summer Olympics, in Los Angeles, Nichols was a member of the gold winning pursuit team. Nichols also competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics and 1980 Summer Olympics. [3]
Nichols won the Goulburn to Sydney Classic in 1993. [4]

Roger John Leonard Sumich is a retired cyclist from New Zealand, who represented his native country at the 1984 Summer Olympics. There he did not finish in the individual road race. Sumich won the bronze medal in the same event at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, Australia.
Michael Ronald Grenda, OAM is a retired road bicycle and track cyclist from Australia, who represented his native country at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California.
