Khana Khazana was an Indian Hindi-language cookery show hosted by Indian chef, Sanjeev Kapoor. [1] The show was primarily based upon Indian cuisine.

The show was directed by Hansal Mehta.

Overview

The first episode of the show was hosted by Harpal Singh Sokhi. [2] [3] The subsequent episodes were hosted by Sanjeev Kapoor. [4] [5] Occasionally, Chef Kapoor brought in various celebrity guests and viewer recipes are also displayed. Over the course of the show, Chef Kapoor had become more conscious and concerned about food-related diseases and cooked low-fat and healthy meals.

Thalipeeth is a savoury multi-grain flatbread popular in Western India, particularly Maharashtra. The flour for thalipeeth, called bhajanee, is prepared from roasted grains, legumes and spices. Endemol Shine India has been producing MasterChef India Season 5 onwards through Star India and Sun TV Network with Innovative Film Academy co-producing it for South Indian regional versions. It was originally started in Hindi language and has been extended to three languages spoken in the Indian sub-continent, including Tamil and Telugu. The latest season of Hindi version is available on Sony Liv while Tamil and Telugu are available on Sun NXT.
