Khwaji Khel is a sub-tribe of Malay zai or Mali zai, better known as the Mullazai tribe.

The Shinwari is an ethnic Pashtun tribe of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Among the greatest poets of the Pashto language in the 20th century was the late Ameer Hamza Shinwari, also known as "Hamza Baba". The Shinwari tribe is son of Kasi Pashtun tribe settled in the southern disctricts of Nangarhar Province, in Haska Meyna, Achin, Rodat, Bati Kot, Kot, Chaprahar, Shinwar, Dor Baba and Nazian districts. A major portion of the tribe is centered in Jalalabad and Parwan province of Afghanistan. These Shinwaris are mostly traders and businessmen. There is also a significant minority of the tribe settled in, Pakistan, a settlement 60 to 85 km south of Peshawar. There are about 2000 to 3000 shinwaris settled in village Ali zai, 15 km away from kohat. In Afghanistan, the Shinwari are also located in Kunar province. Reporting from 2010 states that there are around 400,000 Shinwari in Afghanistan.

Khaglan Wala (ڪھگلانواله) is a village and union council of Isakhel Tehsil of Mianwali District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is part of Isa Khel Tehsil and is located at 32°37'60N 71°16'0E.It is located on the northern bank of Kurram River. It is one of the villages situated on the western borders of Punjab province adjacent to KPK province. Its population is about 3000 people. It is a comparatively developed village as basic facilities like electricity, telephone, metalled road, internet, schools, water supply system and sewerage system are provided to the inhabitants of this village. It is also a well-planned village situated on a 40 feet wide road. A 30' main street runs east to west through the village by equally dividing the entire village into two parts. Three other streets run north to south crossing the main street at 90°. There are four mosques i.e Grand Mosque, Masjid Naurang Khel, Masjid Khizar Khel in Mohalla Khizar Khel and Masjid Abadi Tajpora in this settlement. The scene of river Kurram alongside bela jungle give beautiful look to this historical village. Khaglanwala is a hub of different routes coming from various villages situated on other side of the River Kurram to reach Isa Khel city.

The Banuchi trace their descent to the Shitak superclan of the larger Karlani tribe. Mullazai (ملازئی) is a Baloch tribe found in Panjgur District (پنجگور) of Balochistan, Pakistan and Tank District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. They are known as 'Mullas' and are descendants of Mir Mulla Shehsawar, who they claim to have migrated from Iran Sarbaz in 1513AD. The Mullazai tribe numbers in Panjgur are about 200 families or about 5000 persons. Other tribes associated with the Mullazai settled in Panjgur, Mastung, Sorab, Kalat, Kharan, Quetta, Kucklak, Nushki, Dalbandin, Qandahar and Iran.
