Moshing is a style of dance in which participants push or slam into each other, typically performed to "aggressive" live music. Moshing usually happens in the center of the crowd, generally closer to the stage, in an area called the "pit". It is intended to be energetic and full of body contact.

Parasites are an American pop punk band. They were formed in the late 80's by guitarist / singer Dave Parasite and bassist Ron Nole in New Jersey. Dave later relocated to Berkeley, California, and continued with a new lineup during the heyday of Lookout! Records and the Bay Area pop-punk revival.
Stapleton is an independent rock band who come from Glasgow. They formed in April 1997 and have released four albums and two EPs. They have to date played over 300 shows. They have released records on a number of independent record labels and are presently signed to Xtra Mile Recordings in the UK and This Time Records in Japan. The band consist of Andrew Cook, Gordon Farquhar, Alistair Paxton and Nico Weststeijn (Bass).

Fried Egg Records was a record label set up in 1979 by Andy Leighton, administrator of the Bristol-based Crystal Theatre. Its first release was by the Theatres anarchic "house band" Shoes For Industry. Code Orange is an American hardcore punk band that formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2008. The band consists of guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Eric "Shade" Balderose, guitarist and vocalist Reba Meyers, vocalist and drummer Jami Morgan, bassist Joe Goldman, guitarist Dominic Landolina and session drummer Ethan Young.
SWMRS, pronounced 'swimmers', is an American punk rock band formed in Piedmont, California in 2004 by Cole Becker and Joey Armstrong, with Becker's brother Max Becker joining only a few weeks afterwards. They drew on a mix of influences ranging from the Beach Boys to the Ramones to create their own brand of rock. The band added Travis Neumann in 2009, who later left in 2014 due to creative differences. The band released a demo and a string of EPs from 2008 to 2010. The band released their first album, Don't Be a Dick, on June 14, 2011. The band's second album, Lost at Seventeen, was released on June 11, 2013. They added Sebastian Mueller as the bassist in 2014. The band's third studio album, and their first under the name SWMRS after dropping their former name, Drive North, was released February 12, 2016, via Uncool Records. Drive North was later re-released after the band was signed to record label Fueled by Ramen on October 13, 2016.
Extended Player One is the debut EP from Kids Near Water, as well as the band's first release on Firefly Recordings. The EP was recorded by former Understand member John Hannon in Essex across one weekend in September 2000 at Mushroom Studios, Southend. On its release the EP was awarded 5 K's in Kerrang! as well as receiving a favourable review in the NME. Monk Dave, Editor of the UK punk-zine Fracture described the release as "quite simply the best demo I have ever heard".
Desperate Journalist are an English, London-based post-punk band, formed in 2012. They released their debut album, the self-titled Desperate Journalist, in 2014, on Fierce Panda Records. A second album, Grow Up, was released in March 2017. The band's third and final album to date, In Search of the Miraculous, was released in February 2019.
Carnival Kids are a Norwegian-Anglo rock band made up of Eric Molumby on vocals, Jethro Fox on guitar, John Stark on bass and Andreas Westhagen on drums. They released their first single "Fear Of Nothing" in 2013, and became commonly known in Norway for their spot in the "NRK P3's Urørt finals from 2014
