Kilsyth Victoria Cottage Hospital is a health facility in Glasgow Road, Kilsyth, North Lanarkshire, Scotland. It is managed by NHS Lanarkshire.
The facility was intended to commemorate the diamond jubilee of Queen Victoria and was commissioned to treat workers who had suffered accidents in the local mines. [1] It was financed by the miners themselves, designed by Ronald Walker in the Arts and Crafts style and opened by Sir Archibald Edmonstone in April 1903. [2] The facility joined the National Health Service in 1948 and was extended in 1974. [1] A plaque was erected at the front of the building to commemorate its centenary in April 2003. [3]

The town now has links with Cumbernauld at one time being part of Cumbernauld and Kilsyth District Council. The towns also have the same members of parliament at Holyrood and Westminster.
Croy is a village in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. A former mining community, Croy is situated south of Kilsyth and north of Cumbernauld, some 13 miles (21 km) from Glasgow and 37 miles (60 km) from Edinburgh on the main railway line between the two cities. Croy has a population of about 1,390.
