Kim Min-jong (born 1 September 2000) is a South Korean judoka. [1]
He participated in the Mixed team event at the 2018 World Judo Championships, winning a medal. [2]
In 2021, he competed in the men's +100 kg event at the 2021 Judo World Masters held in Doha, Qatar. [3]
The World Judo Championships are the highest level of international judo competition, along with the Olympic judo competition. The championships are held once every year by the International Judo Federation, and qualified judoka compete in their respective categories as representatives of their home countries. Team competitions have also been held since 1994. The men's championships began in 1956, though the format and periodicity of the championships have changed over time. The last edition of the championships took place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates in 2024.
Teddy Pierre-Marie Riner is a French judoka. He has won eleven World Championships gold medals, the first and only judoka to do so, and five Olympic gold medals. He has also won five gold medals at the European Championships. Riner was a member of the Levallois Sporting Club before joining Paris Saint-Germain in August 2017.
Kim Min-soo is a South Korean former judoka, professional mixed martial artist and K-1 kickboxer. He is best known for becoming a K-1 World Grand Prix 2006 in Seoul finalist and also winning a Silver Medal in Judo at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. He is also known for his fights with WWE professional wrestler and UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, WWE wrestler and K-1 fighter Sean O'Haire, and NFL player turned kickboxer and New Japan Pro-Wrestling contender Bob Sapp. Min-soo holds a notable kickboxing win over Muay Thai world champion Mourad Bouzidi. He announced his retirement from contact sports in 2011, with subsequent stints as color commentator for Japanese and Korean mixed martial arts and professional wrestling events. Kim is also the head judo coach for the Korean Top Team.

She won the mixed doubles title at the 2023 World Championships. Chae was a part of the Korean national team that won the world mixed team championships at the 2017 Sudirman Cup.
Frank de Wit is a Dutch judoka. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's 81 kg event, in which he was eliminated by Ivaylo Ivanov in the second round.
David Moura Pereira da Silva is a Brazilian judoka. He won a silver medal at the 2017 World Judo Championships, was the gold medalist at the 2015 Pan American Games, the 2015 Pan American Judo Championships and ended 2017 as leader of the world rankings.
Baruch Shmailov is an Israeli Olympic judoka. He competes in the under 66 kg weight category, and won a gold medal in the 2022 World Masters in Jerusalem. Shmailov also won a bronze in the 2017 World Masters, as well as a silver at the 2018 World Masters. As of December 2022, Shmailov was ranked #3 in -66 kg weight category. He competed for Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics, finishing in fifth place in the individual competition and winning a bronze medal in the mixed team. He has reached a high world ranking of third in 2019, 2022, and 2024. Shmailov is representing Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in judo in the men's 66 kg event, and in the mixed team event which will take place on August 3.
Tohar Butbul is an Israeli Olympic judoka. He competes in the under 73 kg weight category, where he won silver medals at the 2019 Judo World Masters and the 2021 European Championships, and won bronze medals in the 2017 Paris Grand Slam and 2017 Abu Dhabi Grand Slam. As of March 2018 he was ranked #9 in the world in the U73 kg division. He was a member of the Israeli team that won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics. Butbul will represent Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in judo in the men's 73 kg event on 29 July 2024, and in the mixed team event.
Peter Paltchik is a Ukrainian-born Israeli former European champion and Olympic judoka, competing in the under 100 kg weight category, of which he is the current number 1 ranked Judoka in the world. Paltchik won the bronze medal at the 2018 European Judo Championships in Tel Aviv. In 2019 he won the Israeli championship in the 100+ Kg category. He then won the gold medal at the 2020 European Judo Championships in Prague. Paltchik also won a bronze medal in the mixed team judo competition in the 2021 Olympics. At the 2023 World Judo Championships he won a bronze medal. Paltchik will represent Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in judo in the men's 100 kg event on 1 August 2024, in the mixed team event and will be the flag bearer of his country with the female Olympic swimmer Andrea Murez.

Anna-Maria Wagner is a German judoka. She won the gold medal in the women's 78 kg event at the 2021 World Judo Championships held in Budapest, Hungary. She also won one of the bronze medals in both the women's 78 kg and mixed team events at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.
The World Judo Juniors Championships are the highest level of international judo competition for juniors, 21 years of age or less. The championships are held once every year by the International Judo Federation, and qualified judoka compete in their respective categories as representatives of their home countries. The World Juniors Championships are the only junior event awarding ranking points for the seniors world ranking list. The last edition of the championships took place in Odivelas, Portugal in 2023.
The 2018 World Judo Juniors Championships was held between 17 and 21 September 2018 at the Imperial Ballroom in Nassau, The Bahamas. The final day of competition featured a mixed team event, won by team Japan.
