"Kissing You" is the third single by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation, from their debut album, Girls' Generation (2007). Released in early 2008, the single hit number one on both SBS' Inkigayo and Mnet's M Countdown . [1] The song was also the "Song of the Month" in February 2008 on KBS' Music Bank . [2]

Music video

The music video featured a cameo from Super Junior's Donghae as the shared love interest.[ citation needed ] The video followed a candy theme, with the group members dressed in white and dancing whilst holding a lollipop (both concepts that also feature in live performances of the song, including covers by other groups.) The music video was released on January 14, 2008.[ citation needed ]

Rhythmer Volume 1 remix single

In January 2008, it was announced that people could submit their remixes of "Kissing You" to a website for a chance to have them officially released. [3] The four chosen remixes were then digitally released in March 2008. The Skool Rock Remix Version, the top choice in the competition, was included in the re-release of their debut album, Baby Baby (2008). [4] [5]

Girls' Generation is the debut studio album by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation, released by SM Entertainment on November 1, 2007. Recorded in Korean with minor phrases in English, Girls' Generation is a pop album with bubblegum influences. It spawned three singles: "Into the New World" in August 2007 as their debut single, the title track released simultaneously with the album, and "Kissing You" in January 2008.

Girls' Generation is a South Korean song sung by several artists. The song was originally sung by Lee Seung-chul in 1989, released on his self-titled album Lee Seung-chul: Part 2. It was covered by Maya in 2005 and girl group Girls' Generation in 2007, whose band name is derived from the song's. Gil Hak-mi also performed the song at Superstar K in 2009 and it was released on Love which contains songs by the first Superstar K Top 10.

Seo Ju-hyun, known professionally as Seohyun, is a South Korean singer, actress and songwriter. Seohyun released her first extended play Don't Say No in 2017. She left SM Entertainment later that year, although she remains as a member of Girls' Generation. She joined Namoo Actors in 2019.

Into the New World Tour is the first Asian concert tour of South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. It commenced with two shows in December 2009 in Seoul, followed by two encore shows in February 2010, before the Asian legs in Shanghai and Taipei. Additionally, on August 25, 2010, the group visited Tokyo, Japan for their Premium Showcase Live in Ariake Colosseum. This was their first ever concert performance in Japan, and it launched their debut in Japan.

It was released for digital download by SM Entertainment and KT Music on February 24, 2014. The CD and digital version were released in Hong Kong on the same day, and was made available for purchase on February 27 in South Korea. To promote the album, Girls' Generation appeared on several South Korean music programs including Music Bank and Inkigayo. The title track was released as a single. This is the final Korean EP featuring member Jessica who later left the group on September 30, 2014.

"Mr.Mr." is a Korean song recorded by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation for their fourth Korean titular extended play (2014). The song was released on February 25, 2014, as a single from the EP. The song was composed by American production team The Underdogs, who had previously worked with Western artists including Britney Spears, Beyoncé, and Justin Timberlake. A music video for the song was initially planned to be released on February 19 but was postponed to February 28 due to the accidental deletion of some of the original files.

Forever 1 is Girls' Generation first music release in five years, following their hiatus after the release of their sixth Korean studio album Holiday Night (2017).
