Kjell Georg Lund (born 23 January 1944) is a Norwegian race walker. He was born in Bergen, Norway. [1]

He competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, where he placed 24th in the men's 50 kilometres walk. [1]

At the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, he won a gold medal in the 4 × 10 km relay. Additionally, he won three Olympic silver medals and seven national cross-country championships. His best result at the world championships was fourth place in the 30 km and 4 × 10 km relay in 1970.

Georg Thoma is a retired German Nordic combined skier and ski jumper. He won a gold medal at the 1960 Olympics, becoming the first non-Scandinavian athlete to do so, and was voted German Sportsman of the Year. At the 1964 Olympics he won a bronze medal and served as the Olympic flag bearer for Germany at the opening ceremony. He further won the world championships title in 1966. Thoma's strength in the Nordic combined was jumping. He was three times German champion in ski jumping. Additionally, he won the Nordic combined at the Holmenkollen ski festival from 1963 to 1966. For his Nordic combined successes, Thoma was awarded the Holmenkollen medal in 1964.

Kjell Søbak is a Norwegian former biathlete. At the 1984 Olympics of Sarajevo, Søbak finished second with the Norwegian relay team, which consisted of himself, Eirik Kvalfoss, Rolf Storsveen, and Odd Lirhus. In addition, he finished fourth in the sprint competition at the same Olympics.

Kjell Hovda is a former Norwegian biathlete. He participated on the Norwegian team that received silver medals in 4 × 7.5 km relay in the 1973 Biathlon World Championships 1973 in Lake Placid. He won a bronze medal in the relay in the 1974 World Championships in Minsk, and participated in the 1976 Winter Olympics.
