Kobra and the Lotus is the second studio album by the Canadian heavy metal ensemble of the same name. Released on August 6, 2012, the album was produced by Kevin Churko. [1]
The album was recorded in early 2011 with producer Julius Butty, who later toured the United Kingdom. [2] Once the ensemble was signed to Universal Music Group, Kevin Churko had the group create four additional songs, with Churko producing, remixing and remastering the entire work. [3]
Sometimes is the debut solo album by City and Colour, a side project of Dallas Green, a guitarist and singer for the band Alexisonfire. At first, the majority of these songs were only available at live shows or over the Internet through Peer-to-peer services. However, due to high demand, the songs were compiled onto a studio album and released through Dine Alone Records. "Comin' Home" was the only song on the album to not have been previously available. The album was awarded Alternative Album of the Year at the 2007 Juno Awards.
Out of the Pit is the first studio album by Canadian heavy metal band Kobra and the Lotus. Released on April 22, 2010, it was originally produced by Greg Godovitz of Goddo, the vocals, mix and final production was redone by Iron Maiden producer Kevin Shirley prior to release.
