Komal Nahta (born 30 April 1964) is an Indian film trade analyst. Nahta is the publisher of "Film Information" [1] and also a television show host. He is an anchor of the trade show ETC Bollywood Business on the Bollywood TV channels ETC and Zee Cinema. [2] He is in the advisory board of Cinema Capital and other top companies. He is the son of film producer Ramraj Nahta.[ citation needed ]

His interviews are carried by CNBC, STAR, Zee, B4U, NDTV, Zoom, and Doordarshan. [3] In May 2007, Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar officially launched his weekly film magazine, The Film Street Journal. [4] [5] He runs a YouTube channel, 'Komal Nahata official' on which he give film reviews. [6]

It stars Raveena Tandon in the lead role and Atul Kulkarni, Govind Namdev and Sameer Dharmadhikari appear in the supporting roles. The film narrates the story of a persecuted wife of a greedy politician who takes on his role after he lands up in jail because of murder charges. Released on 7 February 2003, Satta received critical acclaim upon release and is considered one of the best performances of Tandon. The film was released on the same day as Khushi, Baaz: A Bird in Danger and Kash Aap Hamare Hote.
