RCTI is a West Jakarta-based Indonesian free-to-air television network. It is best known for its soap operas, celebrity bulletins, news, and sports programmes. It was first launched in 1989, originally as a local pay television operator that broadcasts mostly foreign programmes, before switching to free-to-air terrestrial network a year later.
Seputar Indonesia was Indonesia's longest running flagship newscast carried by a private television network. It debuted for the first time on the newly inaugurated RCTI on 15 November 1989 as the local news program Seputar Jakarta, as well as the network's first newscast before it evolved to go nationwide on 15 November 1990. Since the end of 2005, the program has regained its position as the most-watched newscast in the country, according to ratings by Nielsen Media Research. During its early years, Seputar Indonesia was also carried by RCTI's then sister network SCTV.
PT Global Informasi Bermutu, operating as GTV is an Indonesian free-to-air television network. It was launched on 8 October 2002. Originally a music television channel as MTV broadcaster in Indonesia and Asia, GTV shifted its focus to general entertainment programming targeting young adults. Currently the network airs news, soap opera, reality and game shows, along with Nickelodeon animation series and anime making up its programming schedule. It is owned by Media Nusantara Citra (MNC), which also owns RCTI, MNCTV and iNews.

RTV officially aired for the first time on 1 November 2009, in Jakarta as the B-Channel. With 24 hours of airtime, RTV's current programs focus on entertainment, soft news, and a variety of animation programs, ranging from anime, tokusatsu and children's animation. The B-Channel changed its name to RTV with the launch of Langit Rajawali on 3 May 2014.
VH1 Indonesia or simply VH1 was a television channel broadcast nationality in Indonesia. A spin-off of MTV Indonesia, this program is focused on local and international music. It is a joint venture between MTV Networks Asia Pacific and Media Nusantara Citra. Most of the programs are usually VH1 The Best Mix, and VH1 Time Machine. It is an Indonesian version of the original VH1.

It was founded on 23 January 1990, at first broadcasting only educational programmes, but has since become similar to other Indonesian TV networks, showing programmes such as quizzes, sinetron, reality TV shows, sports shows, and recently, dangdut music.
