Seputar iNews (Around iNews, taken from the term Seputar Indonesia and iNews) is an Indonesian flagship news programme which broadcast on RCTI, replacing Seputar Indonesia which aired from 1990 to 2017. [1] The program broadcast for three to four hours each day through Seputar iNews Pagi (breakfast news), Seputar iNews Siang (lunchtime news), Sekilas iNews (headline news), [2] and Breaking iNews (breaking news, different coverage with iNews). [3]

<i>Seputar Indonesia</i> Indonesian television news program (1990–2017)

Seputar Indonesia was Indonesia's longest running flagship newscast carried by a private television network. It debuted for the first time on the newly inaugurated RCTI on 15 November 1989 as the local news program Seputar Jakarta, as well as the network's first newscast before it evolved to go nationwide on 15 November 1990. Since the end of 2005, the program has regained its position as the most-watched newscast in the country, according to ratings by Nielsen Media Research. During its early years, Seputar Indonesia was also carried by RCTI's then sister network SCTV.

PT Global Informasi Bermutu, operating as GTV, which is an initialism derived from its previous name, Global TV, is an Indonesian free-to-air television network. It was launched on 8 October 2002. TVRI is the main national public television channel owned by LPP Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI). The channel began broadcasting on 24 August 1962, making it the first television station in Indonesia. The channel was also the only television channel choice in Indonesia until 1989, when Programa Dua TVRI in Jakarta broadcast separately from TVRI and private television stations began broadcasting.
