Fokus (Focus) is an Indonesian television news program that broadcasts on Indosiar.

Contents

The material presented is information that has closeness to the Indonesian people. Meanwhile, the events that took place in the regions of West Asia and Southeast Asia as well as some areas adjacent to Indonesia will be the main choice of news from abroad. The program will be presented to the audience with five different packages. The news material displayed includes developments in political, economic, social news and various other interesting events. RCTI is a West Jakarta-based Indonesian free-to-air television network. It is best known for its soap operas, celebrity bulletins, news, and sports programmes. It was first launched in 1989, originally as a local pay television operator that broadcasts mostly foreign programmes, before switching to free-to-air terrestrial network a year later.

<i>Seputar Indonesia</i> Indonesian television news program (1990–2017)

Seputar Indonesia was Indonesia's longest running flagship newscast carried by a private television network. It debuted for the first time on the newly inaugurated RCTI on 15 November 1989 as the local news program Seputar Jakarta, as well as the network's first newscast before it evolved to go nationwide on 15 November 1990. Since the end of 2005, the program has regained its position as the most-watched newscast in the country, according to ratings by Nielsen Media Research. During its early years, Seputar Indonesia was also carried by RCTI's then sister network SCTV.

The Panasonic Gobel Awards, are the annual awards presented to television programs and performances in Indonesia based on a people's choice poll. The first award was held in 1997 in partnership with Tabloid Citra and aired on Indosiar. Media Nusantara Citra began conducting the awards in 2000 and its broadcasting rights were held by RCTI. In 2003, TPI and Global TV also began televising the awards.

PT Global Informasi Bermutu, operating as GTV, which is an initialism derived from its previous name, Global TV, is an Indonesian free-to-air television network. It was launched on 8 October 2002. Originally a music television channel as MTV broadcaster in Indonesia and Asia, GTV shifted its focus to general entertainment programming targeting young adults. Currently the network airs news, soap opera, reality and game shows, along with Nickelodeon animation series and anime making up its programming schedule. It is owned by Media Nusantara Citra (MNC), which also owns RCTI, MNCTV and iNews.

PT Indosiar Visual Mandiri, commonly known as Indosiar, is an Indonesian over-the-air television network, established on 19 July 1991, with test broadcasts commencing on 18 December 1994, and officially launching on 11 January 1995. It has been owned by Elang Mahkota Teknologi since 2011; it eventually operated under its subsidiary, Surya Citra Media since 1 May 2013, with the network's original owner, Indosiar Karya Media, absorbed into the latter company.

PT MNC Televisi Indonesia, operating as MNCTV is an Indonesian private television network. TVRI is the main national public television channel owned by LPP Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI). The channel began broadcasting on 24 August 1962, making it the first television station in Indonesia. The channel was also the only television channel choice in Indonesia until 1989, when Programa Dua TVRI in Jakarta broadcast separately from TVRI and private television stations began broadcasting.
