Kota Baru Parahyangan or KBP is a planned city located at Padalarang, West Bandung Regency in Indonesia. It was developed with the vision and spirit as a City Of Education. [1] Total land area of the township is 1,250 hectares including land for 200 hectares of lakes. [2]
After the first stage of the development of the township was completed. In the second stage of development a town center was built along with a 18 hole golf course area, landed houses, and other commercial projects. IKEA has an outlet in the township. [3] There is a horizontal Sun clock in the township which is the biggest in Indonesia. [4]
Each residential cluster of the township is equipped with parks that have different themes. Parks are implemented with the concept of non-formal education through design and game objects. The architectural concept adopts history which is implemented in residential buildings. [5]
The complexes are equipped with houses built by KBP.
On March 28, 2021, IKEA opened its third store in Kota Baru Parahyangan. It is the first store to open outside of the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Area. [6]
Although the store was set to open in the latter half of 2020, the opening of the store was delayed to 2021 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. [7]
On March 31, 2020 a Viral Water park opened, which was the largest water park in West Java. Featuring multiple large water slides, and a nearby man made lake. Wahoo Waterworld Bandung [8]
For formal education, there is a national standard plus schools that refer to American Classical School Curriculum, from the level of kindergarten to high school. Also has been established Bandung Alliance International School, International Foreign Language Academy (ABAI).

The township can be accessed by Purbaleunyi Toll Road through the Padalarang toll gate. Shuttle bus operates Parahyangan to Leuwi Panjang route via Purbaleunyi Toll Road.

Padalarang–Cileunyi Toll Road or Padaleunyi is an expressway located in Bandung, West Java. Al-Irsyad Mosque is a mosque located in West Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, within the Kota Baru Parahyangan housing area. The mosque was built in 2009 and completed in 2010. The mosque is shaped like a cube without a dome. The architects of the mosque are Ridwan Kamil, an architect turned politician who is currently the governor of West Java.
Mochamad Ridwan Kamil, alternatively Kang Emil or RK, is an Indonesian architect and politician who was the 15th Governor of West Java, the largest province of Indonesia. He was also the mayor of Bandung from 2013 to 2018. Bandros or Bandung Tour Bus is a tour bus which operates in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. It is used by tourists in Bandung City. The bus was unveiled by the Mayor of Bandung, Ridwan Kamil, on New Year's Eve 2014, and on February 18, 2018 it was announced that a tour bus will serve the city's. A local tour leader will accompany tourists on the bus. Bandros is managed by two parties: the Department of Transportation in Bandung and Mang Dudung which forms part of Corporate Social Responsibility. Buses have a capacity of 22 people. There are six buses operated by the Corporate Social Responsibility division, and 12 buses operated by the Regional Revenue and Expenditures Budget which is managed by the BLUD UPT Angkutan Department of Transportation in Bandung.

Soreang–Pasir Koja Toll Road or Soroja is a toll road connecting Soreang to Pasir Koja in Bandung Regency, West Java, Indonesia. The 10.6-kilometer toll road section connects with the existing Purbaleunyi Toll Road, linking Soreang, the capital of Bandung Regency, with a direct access to the capital city Jakarta and the Cikarang industrial area to the north. The toll road will connect directly to Purbaleunyi Toll Road at KM 132, which connects westward to Cikampek and Jakarta and eastward to Cileunyi. The toll road was inaugurated by Indonesian President Joko Widodo on 4 December 2017.
Argo Parahyangan, also commonly known as GOPAR is an executive and economy premium class train operated by Indonesian Railway Company between Gambir railway station, Jakarta and Bandung in Java, Indonesia. The train covers 166 kilometres (103 mi) in 2 hours 50 minutes. From Jakarta to Bandung the train stops at Bekasi and Cimahi where as from Bandung to Jakarta it stops only at Jatinegara. KAI operates 34 trips daily in the route.
Meikarta is a planned city project in Indonesia, which is aimed to become a modern city of international scale. The township is being developed by PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency. The township has land area of about 500 hectares. The project was officially launched on 17 August 2017. The project is located on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. Meikarta expects to serve as the residential area of other industrial estates in Cikarang region such as Kota Jababeka and MM2100. Total investment for development of the township is about Rp 278 trillion.

Tegalluar Station is a high-speed railway station located on Cibiru Hilir, Bandung Regency, West Java, Indonesia. Despite its name, this station is not located in Tegalluar village, but in the northeast of the village. The station, which is located at an altitude of 52.203 meters, only serves the KCIC Whoosh Jakarta-Bandung HSR route.
