Asan Memorial Poetry Prize or Asan Smaraka Kavitha Puraskaram is a literary award instituted in 1985 by Madras-based Asan Memorial Association in memory of Malayalam poet Kumaran Asan. It is given annually to honour outstanding poets in Malayalam language. The award comprises a purse of Rs 50000, sculpture and certificate. The award was also conferred to Tamil writers in the initial years.

1921: Puzha Muthal Puzha Vare is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language period film written, produced, edited, and directed by Ramasimhan. It is based on the 1921 Malabar riots. The film depicts the religious persecution of Hindus spearheaded by Variyankunnath Kunjahammad Haji. The film stars Thalaivasal Vijay, R. L. V. Ramakrishnan, Joy Mathew, Dinesh Panicker, Vijay Menon, Santhosh K. Nayar, Kozhikode Narayanan Nair, Agna Suresh, and Kenas Mathew George.
