Kranthi Madhav is an Indian writer and director known for his work in Telugu film industry. He has directed films like Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju and Ungarala Rambabu . [1] [2]

Personal life

Kranthi Madhav was born in Khammam and brought up in Warangal. His professor A.F. Mathews introduced him to film making. He completed his post-graduation in 2002 and had two offers. One was to work in a national channel for a salary of ₹12K or to work in Ramoji film city for a salary of ₹4.5K. His father suggested that he should take the RFC job because it would keep him near to the goal of becoming a filmmaker. Later on he has worked in related companies like UGC, Rediffusion, Radio Mirchi and Vyjayanthi Movies before becoming an independent film director. He has cited Guru Dutt, T. Krishna, and K. Balachander as his inspirations.

Sudigundalu (transl. Whirlpools) is a 1968 Indian Telugu-language philosophical film, produced by Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Adurthi Subba Rao under the Chakravarthy Chitra banner and directed by Adurthi Subba Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, and has music composed by K. V. Mahadevan. It was released on 28 June 1968. The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu, The Nandi Award for Best Feature Film, and the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Telugu. It marked the debut of Nageswara Rao's son Nagarjuna as child artist in a cameo. The cult classic film was screened at the Tashkent Film Festival, and the International Film Festival of India.

<i>Seetharamayya Gari Manavaralu</i> 1991 Indian film

Seetharamayya Gari Manavaralu is a 1991 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by Kranthi Kumar, and produced by V. Doraswamy Raju under the VMC Productions banner. The film stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Meena and Rohini Hattangadi with the music composed by M. M. Keeravani. Based on the novel Navvina Kanneelle by Manasa, the plot follows Seetha (Meena) who arrives from the US to visit her grandparents, Seetharamayya (Rao) and Janakamma (Hattangadi) who are uninformed of her parents' accidental death.

Show is a 2002 Indian Telugu-language experimental film written and directed by Neelakanta, starring Manjula Ghattamaneni and Surya. The film won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu and was premiered in the Indian Panorama section at the International Film Festival of India. Neelakanta received National Film Award for Best Screenplay for the film. The film also won three Nandi Awards.

Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are an Indian film producer duo. They founded Arka Media Works, a film production company known for its works in Telugu cinema and Telugu Television Programs and Shows. Their notable productions include Vedam (2010), Maryada Ramanna (2010), the Baahubali film series (2015–2017) and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya (2020).
