Kristin Fortune is an American ice dancer. With partner Dennis Sveum, she was the 1965 and 1966 U.S. national champion. [1] They won the silver medal at the 1966 World Figure Skating Championships. [2]

Fortune and Sveum were coached by Jean Westwood and Charles Phillips. [3]

2016 World Figure Skating Championships figure skating competition

The 2016 ISU World Figure Skating Championships took place March 28 – April 3, 2016 in Boston, Massachusetts. Figure skaters competed for the title of World champion in men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs and ice dancing. This marked the first time Boston was host to the World Figure Skating Championships. The competition determined the number of athlete slots for each federation at the 2017 World Championships.

The 1977 World Junior Figure Skating Championships were held 8–12 February in Megève, France. Sanctioned by the International Skating Union, it was the second edition of an annual competition in which figure skaters compete for the title of world junior champion. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.

2020 World Figure Skating Championships figure skating competition

The 2020 World Figure Skating Championships will be held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, from March 16–22, 2020. Figure skaters will compete for the title of world champion in men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. This will mark the first time that Montreal will host the World Figure Skating Championships since 1932. The competition will determine the entry quotas for each federation at the 2021 World Championships.
