Russel S. "Russ" Witherby (born February 3, 1962 in Cincinnati, Ohio) [1] is an American coach and former competitive figure skater. He competed in ice dance with several partners. He and April Sargent Thomas competed in the 1992 Winter Olympics. [1] His other partners included Lois Luciani and Susie Wynne.
He is currently coaching at the Philadelphia Skating Club and Humane Society in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Alexander Gennadyevich Zaitsev is a retired pair skater who represented the Soviet Union. With partner Irina Rodnina, he is a two-time Olympic champion, six-time World champion and seven-time European champion. They were coached by Stanislav Zhuk and later Tatiana Tarasova in Moscow.
Lyudmila Alekseyevna Pakhomova was an ice dancer who competed for the Soviet Union. With her husband Alexandr Gorshkov, she was the 1976 Olympic champion, one of the oldest female figure skating Olympic champions.
Oleg Alekseyevich Protopopov is a former Russian pair skater who represented the Soviet Union. With his wife Ludmila Belousova he is a two-time Olympic champion and four-time World champion (1965–1968). In 1979, the pair defected to Switzerland and became Swiss citizens in 1995. They continued to skate at ice shows and exhibitions through their seventies.
Gennadi Mikhailovich Karponosov is an ice dancing coach and a former competitive ice dancer for the Soviet Union. With Natalia Linichuk, he is the 1980 Olympic champion and a two-time World champion.
Jenni N. Meno is an American former competitive pair skater. With her husband Todd Sand, she is the 1998 World silver medalist, a two-time World bronze medalist, and a three-time U.S. national champion (1994–96).
Pierre Émile Ernest Brunet was a figure skater. Together with his wife Andrée Brunet he won Olympic medals in 1924, 1928 and 1932, as well as four world titles between 1926 and 1932 in pair skating. He also competed in singles, winning the national title in 1924–1931 and finishing seventh-eighth at the 1924 and 1928 Winter Olympics.
Alain Giletti is a French figure skater. He is the 1960 World champion, the 1955-1957 & 1960-1961 European champion and is a ten-time French national champion. At the age of 12, he represented France at the 1952 Winter Olympics, where he placed 7th. He placed 4th at the 1956 Winter Olympics, and 4th again at the 1960 Winter Olympics.
Susan Elizabeth "Susie" Wynne is an American former ice dancer and current figure skating analyst and commentator. She competed at the 1988 Winter Olympics with Joseph Druar. The duo won the gold medal at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships twice. She later competed with Russ Witherby. Since retiring from skating, she has worked as a television figure skating analyst for the Fox and ABC networks.
April L. Sargent is an American former ice dancer. Skating with Russ Witherby, she won the gold medal at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in 1992 and competed in the Winter Olympics that year. She currently coaches at the Philadelphia Skating Club & Humane Society.
Scott Wendland is an American former pair skater. Early in his career, he competed with Ashley Stevenson and Shelley Propson. He later teamed up with Jenni Meno and they competed in the 1992 Winter Olympics. After that season, Meno left Wendland for another partner. Wendland is now an ice skating coach.
Leah Jean Poulos-Mueller is an American retired speed skater. She competed at the 1972, 1976 and 1980 Winter Olympics, and won two silver medals in 1980 and one in 1976. She garnered more than 65 Olympic, world, and international speed skating medals and titles during a career that spanned 12 competitive years and three Olympic teams. After retiring from competitions she had a long career in law as a civil litigator.
Jill Marilynn Watson is an American retired pair skater and coach. With her partner Peter Oppegard, she is the 1988 Olympic bronze medalist and a three-time U.S. national champion.

Genrikh Genrikhovich Sretenski is convicted sex felon and a former Russian ice dancer who competed for the Soviet Union. With partner Natalia Annenko, Sretenski is the 1988 European silver medalist and three-time European bronze medalist. Andrei Vasilievich Bushkov is a Russian former pair skater who represented the Soviet Union until its fall, and, after that, Russia. With partner Marina Eltsova, he is the 1996 World champion and a two-time European champion.
Karen Barber is a British ice dancer. She is the 1983 European bronze medalist and competed at two Olympics with partner Nicky Slater.
John Thomas is a Canadian ice dancer. With partner Joanne French, he is the 1981 & 1982 Canadian Figure Skating Championships bronze medalist. With partner Kelly Johnson, he is the 1983 & 1984 Canadian silver medalist. Johnson and Thomas placed 12th at the 1984 Winter Olympics.
Vladimir Anatolyevich Fedorov or Fyodorov is a Russian former competitive ice dancer. He is the 1993 World bronze medalist with Anjelika Krylova. He is now married and lives in the USA in illinois. He coaches at SnoKing Ice Arena in Snoqualmie, WA.
